Alrighty, Ive got some Dutch P Blueberry some Alaskan Ice, Diesel, and some Super Lemon Haze. I know quite a few people have experience growing some or all of these strains, now Im looking for some good growing tips. Id like to know what you guys and gals have found to be better producing with these strains. Im thinking of letting the Blueberry just grow naturally and maybe topping the rest of the strains but before I do Id like to hear some input and see what you think. Should I top, or not top If I do top what strains? :bigjoint: Thanks RIU!!!

Natrone thanks for the link not many responses though, maybe cause nobody really grows this. What kind of lights were these under and how big were they when you went into flower and how long did they flower. I also wana know what was her appetite like??

Blueberry

I have that growing constantly

You buy it femmed?

Watch for hermies, I've noticed bb have a tendency to hermie more than other strains i grow

Leaves curling happens a lot too

for no reason other than genetics

but of course watch for other problems too

just be sure to not over react most of the time

I would say let it be

bb can have huge yields

especially outdoors

flavour is amazing

it is the original

I rarely see a Bb get that large

they are very much indica dominant and like to stay bushy

i rarely top any of my plants because I like them to grow naturally

I have also read (in marijuana botany) that topping actually has a greater chance of reducing yield

so do what you will

These are growing under a 400hps, the sativa pheno stretches alot but still has buds running up the full length of the plant, this pheno looks alot like the plants in your avi, so that might give you an idea what to expect. The buds on the S pheno are very sativa looking, they almost look like fox tailing, each bud site sends out a fox tail from the beginning, I don't know if most sativa does this because this my first sativa.:leaf:

The more indica pheno has distint more fatter leaves and noticelby serrated leaves, During veg it seemed like it stopped growing for a couple weeks and than after some time had growth spurt again, I've read over on Icmag some people talking bout a slow growing AI, but it did flower pretty quick, I don't keep track of the dates i put them into flower but I remember putting the S pheno in a couple weeks before the I pheno, and this I pheno has got up and passed the s pheno, the I pheno is very close to done, Hopefully the S pheno will fatten up, she still kinda loose.

I ve been trying to perfect a super soil recipe so its been rough on the girls but the I pheno stayed dark geeen veg and never burned or curled or anything, it drinks the least of all my strains, and in flower stayed very strong throughout.

The S pheno like to girl the tips of the leaves, ao she is more senstive.

I tell you was really impressed with trichs on both of the T he sativa starts early trich production but I pheno is outstanding coverd in trichs:weed: my camera dosent do them justice but thats closet i can get.

One thing with greenhouse is they have alot phenos some of the Icmag pics are different than mine. Greenhouse has totally different phenos then their description, I have their k-train also they say a short bushy plant I get a tall lanky bastard lol

the first pic is atually 2 clones of S pheno in 1 2gal pot you can see how much they strecth
The second pic is the k-train

What your setup like?

Wow that Blueberry looks hella big I was expecting for a ver thick bushy plant so thanks for enlighting me. The appetite throws me off too I was expecting a hearty appetite. My AI is actually very strong and If Im remebering correctly it has the tightest node spacing throughout all my plants now. I think Ill be vegging all my babys which are listed in the first post for like a month and a half or more I wana see some massive production off all of em. Hey thanks for the knowledge and time that youve spent explaining and writing I appreciate it. Oh I almost spaced. Rite now I have 1000w 1 600w shps and a 400w blue daylight MH bith bulbs are Hortilux bulbs and they are bith housed in the same hood its called the growzilla and Im using a Sun System 7 ballast runs both MH and SHPS at the same time thats what all my flowering plants are under. My veg room is 6 40w Natural Sunlight bulbs in hoods and they are vegging 2 Blueberry 2 Super Lemon Haze 1 Alaskan Ice 1 Diesel and 5 of my Ultra Haze 2 clones so theres alot going on rite now oh and Im using Earth Juice and Roots Organics nutes.

Indeed probably how Im feelin rite now I got a half 1/8 of some White Wreck (white widow x trainwreck) and some U2 Kush not sure what that is. The U2 Kush excellent flavor and a real nice stone the wreck lot less taste pungent odor and the stone is much more upliftin and energetic but nice. I got both at the Dank bank.

I have not grown pure diesel (NY), only smoked it, but i can tell you Grapefruit Diesel looks very similar and smells/taste just slightly more citrus, as the name implies.. i would guess it was an experiment... cross with gf... but i love both... They clone fast, veg fast and if you hack them down early you can get plenty of tops! I keep a lot of wind on them because they tend to get heavy and bend the branchs... wind helps the branches toughen up! kind of like those russians vs the germans! HAHA im german/polish.. i guess thats not so funny... but back to my story... you can hit these plants with lots of nitrogen, and then later you P/K... but be careful when you put them under the brights at first because youll burn their tender foliage! they have relatively thinner leaves/stems, so be gentle and stake them up. it is a hybrid so it finishes fast... in like 65-70days... i have yet to pass this strain up in my limited space... they respond well in soil and rockwool. i am anticipating rockwool/coco combo badass shiz

I am just preparing for my first grow, so I cant advise you. But I wanted too subscribe to the thread because I will start growing most of the strains you do in about a week.

I've seen threads for BB and SLH here. Even though I believe SLH isn't ready yet.

Here is an excerpt from the book I am reading:

petrushka but taken from the "The Cannabis Grow Bible" by Greg Green said:
"If you grow Blueberry without topping you won't achieve maximum bud production from that plan, but if you top the Blueberry you will. Other strains aren't so flexible and the two top colas will simply share the same volume of bud that a single cola would have produced on the same strain."
Obviously I can't say if it's true. But the book received excellent ratings from hundreds of readers.

I grew 5 Alaskan Ice recently, they are a week or so into curing. 3 different phenos.
2 plants looked good, finished in 11 weeks, vegged for 8 weeks and they ended up being about 5 foot and 6 foot at the end. Fimmed one of those, but ended up with about the same amount, 2.5 ounces per plant. Kinda airy bud, and I probly could have let them go longer.

One plant was pretty short, maybe 3 feet or a bit more, and finished in 10 weeks, but looked like a mutant. The calyxs were so swelled up that you couldnt see any hairs, they completely engulfed the hairs right from the beginning. Easy as shit to trim, there was almost no leaf. And it is really light green, with leaves starting to turn purple in the last 2 weeks, I'm sure the bud would have if I left it for a bit longer. Really dense buds, even the ones that were on the bottom of the plant and got no light grew and were just as nice as the uppers. I managed to clone that one when it was in flower because I could see it was gonna be a rad plant right away into flowering. Got an ounce and a half off it.

And 2 plants were retards and grew to be about 7 feet, with one set of calyxs all over. It started to flower but then never ever did, so it was filled with all the calyxs but never grew on each other, just 100 sets of one. I let them finish and made hash out of it.
They are all really spicy scent in curing.
