Two things are gonna happen. He'll either freak out and trash his grow or he'll freak out and get really proactive about covering his tracks. Either way you're saving him from potential trouble. He should appreciate after he get's over the shock.

That's why I think im going to go with the note idea. If someone knocked on my door and told me they knew I was growing...narc or not I'd probably trash my grow. This way I can direct him to RIU, And the odor control thread, and still keep things calm. Although I am prepared to hear some freaking out upstairs after they read my note. lol

the thing about a note is that you can't tell tone. i would go face to face, but thats just me. hope he hope things go well, hope he doesnt freak too much

Lol...he deserves it. Odor control cannot be overlooked especially in such close quarters. But I hope he actually puts the link to use, and doesn't get all bitchy about it.

Yeah I'd be pretty freaked out if I got a note under the door. I'd just confront him about it, tell him your 420 friendly, bring a joint, and tell him about a carbon filter. I'd be pretty happy if someone gave me a heads up.

if so you might want to reconsider letting him know its YOU letting him know to watch his shit. if hes reckless enough to let an apt stink he may be reckless enough to tell all his buddies about the cool guy who helped him out.
maybe a anonymous note directing him to RIU.

That's what I'm saying. I'd rather be as anonymous as possible. I don't know this dude in any way shape or form, and I'd like to keep it that way. If he decides to log on and recognizes my boy in my avi...fine, but other than that...I don't want him knowing anything about me other than I assisted him a little with his odor problem.

I do have literature on carbon filters I picked up from the hydro store. I could just walk up there...say hey, and I have some literature here that would help solve your problems...

I like this idea. It isn't as random as a hand written web site. Just write riu.org on it. The only thing I can see wrong with not personally confronting him is that he might think someone is trying to fuck with him. Then again, it's not like it's someone you know which makes it even cooler that you're willing to help out a little.
