i probably had about 6-7 grams of keif when i pressed it. you can press whatever amount but if you wait and build it up then you get some decent sized cakes/blocks whatever you wanna call em. And its just so much better than having to deal with the powder anbd the worry of loosing it

did you collect your kief from your trimmings, or did you put your buds in a kief box???? Fixing to have my first grow, and i would like to make some hash if i am able to.

i did make some with my trimmings then again with my bud. just put it in a grinder and grind it lol, then put a nickle where the weed lies over the screen. close the grinder and shake that baby!!!! from side to side so the keif doesnt bounce back up if that makes sense. i just smoked for a while and when my keif tray was full i made the piece of hash. do some research theres a shitload of methods of making hash, i think bubble and keif are great. Havent tried any hash made with solvents as far as i know of but i bet its also dope. Anyway good luck and read up or look up in youtube for videos they are there!!

Sweet, sounds pretty easy, after i collect the kief though do i have to heat it up in the over or anything or do i just compress it and it is good to go?? P.S. Thanks for the info.

compress then heat(outside the oven, just to make it a warm not actually hot) then compress and repeat 2-3 times

flowering is fine, no big bursts of growth in the past few days but they are already all frosted at the nugs big leaves with stems are all frosted and shit, one of them is just shining which is also the biggest and is looking insane and very promising. I got about 30 more days to go so still expecting many good things to come, oh yea and the smell is this fruity sweet danky goodness smell. i can tell its gonna be some great smelling/tasting bud. the mazar is still lagging behind the others with underdeveloped nugs and not alot of promise for a good yield. I dont know where i went wrong with her but it still has a long way to go so im hoping to get 1/2 zip off of it but its slow pace has me scared. it just started pushing out trichomes so thats a good sing, ill just hope for the best. I got a dehumidifier for the cab for $80 shipped and gonna turn in one i got for 40 at amazon that did;nt use compressor and didn;t dry enough. so yea man i got high hopes for the next month and looking forward to a stoney summer

Sounds good Mr. Bitti.. looks like you are getting the humidity under control... too bad your mazar isnt growing as expected..same thing happened to me.. its the only plant that has shown growth problems... hope both of them turn out fine :)

hey bitti!
i wouldn't worry about that mazar yet...it might be one of those strains that pack it on the last two weeks! i've seen it before with my outdoor plants! nothing for weeks then bam!

peace!

hey thanks man, i hope thats the case, me and Capo a guy from icmag are around the same flowering time on the same mazar freebies from seedbay and his is also in this slow flowering mode, so i am starting to think its a strain related deal. he also super cropped his mazar so we have the exact same conditions and so far pretty much same outcome. So far im disappointed but im not sweating it cus i know it can turn around real fast. im just worried it wants to flower for 60+ days

Edit: he also is growing in coco with small containers and the only difference is the nutes he uses.

Yeah it might take a while on this one, but it might be worth it, Ive read that Mazar is a really strong:joint: strain...
I just put mine to flower, hoping its a female.

got some good news man my mazar is getting to grow a bit more, today i see a bigger top nug with some somewhat swollen calyxes. not huge but bigger than the big bang calyx formation. I'm excited just when i was bummed about the plant she responded right back

Hey Mr. Bitti,

I'm very happy to see all the success you're having with GHS Big Bang -- I'm not having as much luck. The plants are growing steadilly -- and look nice -- but are really slow growing under 400w (conversion) and DWC. I wanted to ask you if you saw any periods of growth that were much faster or slower than others, any big spurts? Mine seem to enjoy the fist week of flowering A LOT.

Thanks for a great thread.

what are you feeding them?? does you dwc have a good airstone? I had mine stunted to shit the second week cus i was feeding fox farm on the coco and they hated it. I switched to general hydroponics micro/bloom and they took off since i changed. I am usinf Advanced nutrients Big Bud at about 1/4 teaspoon and adding 3.5/6.5ml micro/bloom. I can tell you they enjoy a good feed so if your girls are somewhat light green they are asking for nutes!!

Anyway post up again with some more details please. Nutes/light schedule/ppm/ph and anything you might think is affecting growth.

And yes i did see periods when they just get bigger from night to day. That mostly happened during flowering at around days 14, day 22 and around day 28. I could tell they looked similar for a few days and then they swelled up big time.

I'd be glad to try to help you fugure out this slow growth. Feel free to post up pics and more info, everyone here will prolly take a shot at relieving your problems! thanks for stopping by

I'll get some pics in tonight i hope if not tomorrow night for sure.

ive been looking at a Mazar-I-shariff thread and have identified my pheno with other growers and they say that it doesn't start packing on weight till week 6-7 and they can go for 10 weeks, i have seen pics of different phenos but also seen pics of my pheno and it was doing the same thing with terrible calyx to leaf ratio at around 5 weeks. Which is one week ahead of mine, I now have a better feeling because i have confirmed this pheno as a slow starter. I hate the fact that shes so slow but i made a decision to keep her instead of another big bang so ill have to wait her out hopefully i can get something decent by week 9. Wish me luck on my Mazar hehe, thanks again for watching guys pics tonight

I'm feeding them three-part GH and following the bottle's recommendations to a "T". I really think the Greenhouse Seeds Big Bang is very sensitive to nutrients. I don't have a ppm meter, but I star with grocery store RO water that's near zero ppm. pH hovers right below 6.

I have two rubbermaid tubs going, each with two 12" airstones, one is also set up with top drip (hasn't made any difference that I can see). These pics are day 36 overall, day 7 12/12, 400 w HPS / 6" cool tube. The Big Bangs are in the center of the multi-plant shot.
