place to get mylar?

you can go to walmart and get an emergency blanket, they're made of mylar

dollar store!!!! the back of shiny wrapping paper! 3x4 sheet for a buck!! just peel the wrapper back to make sure the back is mirrored not glittery!! best budget grow tip # 206

i duct tape anywhere i need to staple ,and clear packing tape works well. also a buddy to help hold is a big help! but dollar store mylar rocks!!

im looking to tottaly cover my walls tho, that doesnt seem practical(blankets)
its a closet approx 2.5ft deep, 5ft wide, 7.5ft tall

The blankets are large, 3 feet wide by8 feet tall. The mylar is 1mm thick, I like to fold it over on itself. Each one is only a couple bucks.

just any ol shiny wrapping paper? and it just peels apart?

yeah with the blankets you need 3 or 4 if you do the door too ..you dont need a big roll

i see... they are thin arent they, so you could just tape them up and cut them to fit?

with the wrapping paper you need to peel open the wrapper to look at the back side..to make sure its mylar ,some of the rolls are glittery instead of mirrored..you dont need to peel anything just use it backwards

yeah cut to fit or just fold over. You can tape them together however you like. Mylar comes in 1mm, 2mm and maybe 3mm. It really helps to reflect the light.

sweet ideas im gonna go investigate both of those, geez you guys saved me alot of trouble, i almost bought some expensive paint and would've had to go thru painting the dang thing

plus i have some light leaks to take care of and i can put the mylar over that right? like the light wont shine thru will it?

if its flat white in there you would be ok but the mylar really gets the light bouncin all over big diff!!
