Check my Trich's - First grow - Day 17 : 12/12

Hey guys,

I was in my closet tucking some leaves under my screen and I noticed my girls' first Trichs.

This is my first grow, doing dwc, dutch master nutes, under 650w (400 hps, 250 mh). The strain is Hindu Skunk, 8-9 week flower.

Is day 17 flower average to show trichs? Is it fast? If it is fast, what does that mean, only that I will have more trichs at the end? That the plants are maturing quickly?

I took about 50 pictures and only got this one to turn out good, not the best camera, but when I get a good pic it is pretty good.

Excuse all the questions. I'm going to search and read a little now, but I was excited and wanted to ask and share right away.

Nah broham just a question that doesnt need immediate help. But your plants look fine. Actually great but they are real green back off the ferts and use more P and K stuff also Ca is an awesome supplement in flower. But yeah some strain get crystally realy early some people call these white strains, so you will probably have some fuzzy plants in the end. Really white plants still have the same aount of THC though they just have more noncapitated stalks or literally hairs. Looks sativa dominant though so id say it needs 10 weeks of flowering.

Thank you too, laserbrn. Don't worry, I'm actually growing to have a hobby until my dream of having a kid come true, it's actually my wife who is lagging. It sounds pretty gay, but when I was a kid what I wanted to be when I grew up was a dad. I wanted to be a baseball player for a little while, until I started little league and realized I was the worst one on the field, haha.

It's funny, out here in So Cal everyone is talking about growing pot legally now for a living...I just like to grow my smoke. I have a job, and someday I too would like to be a dad. Not a pot farmer.

But it sure is a fun hobby and a great way to get some free smoke.

i hear you. im jus glad that i can legally growmy own medication and save me $10 to$15 grand a year.

I took your advise. Like I said this is my first time, but I do know they list the NPK on nutes, so I looked thought what I had and found one with high P and K.

I ended up adding a little extra Dutch Master Potash+ and a little more Cal-Mag.

The ladies look happier than ever.

Wow. I only spend around $5 or 6 grand a year, guess I'm lightweight. It is very nice to not be paying that out.

Well, soon I won't be paying it out anyways.

Oh man...I pay out about $1400-$1600/mo when I'm not growing. I smoke about an oz/wk between me and my girl and my friends that come by.

Just dont roll up your kid and smoke it after hes grown, might not work out for ya so well. Plants look good though.
