all you idiots are way off. his parents didn't care that he grew it. his mom got tired of the smell so trashed it. for you to flame him for calling his mom a bitch is out of line. just because your mother did all she could for you doesn't mean that his did the same for him. him calling her a bitch is his perception of her not yours. the immaturity that i see from the people on this site amazes me, but then again i have to remember that this is a stoner site. also. flaming the 2nd kid is fucked. and he is right about a few things. you letting your kid view a stoner site is wrong. if cps found out about it you would have your kids taken away. so maybe you shouldn't boasts about how great of a parent you are and how you let your kids use foul language. if you are adults then act like it.. flaming kids on stoner sites isnt part of it

HIS MOM TOLD HIM TO GET RID OF IT, HE DIDN'T. AS A RESULT OF HIS ILLEGAL ACTIONS HE PLACED HIS ENTIRE FAMILY AT RISK. Because his mom didn't want to lose her house or go to prison, she is a bitch? All this little punk had to do was listen to his parents, thats all. He brought it all on himself.

im the moron bu yet you have a hard time reading. no where in any of his post did he quote his mother as telling him to get rid of it. she just didn't like the smell... you assume too much and as a result you make yourself look like a fool.. where did i say its ok to do either? im not his mother and im not the person who lets their kid look at stoner sites and use foul language. again you assume too much and make yourself look foolish.... the 2nd persons comments was a reply to what you and another said. it may of been vulgar but accurate. as a parent you owe your child everything as they did not ask to be here. sure there are exceptions but he was right. respect him, no but dont jump the kids ass for speaking... yes...you need to pay more attn to what you read before u post
 
Although I really don't know the specifics of the situation other than what I have read on this thread, the truth of the matter is that...

your mom obviously doesn't smoke pot. That's okay. She found it and made you throw it away. That makes sense on her end, correct?

But you shouldn't call her a bitch. Be honest with her from the beginning, or hell, worse case scenario, be a little slicker when it comes to hiding it, but don't insult your mom dude. Simply not cool.
 
Truth is that not many people in this thread are acting like or sound like adults.

The kid asked a question about marijunana, that's what these forums are about. This is not a parenting/morals/life lessons site, so let's stick to the pertinent topics.

Everyone is so quick to assume things. None of us know his situation, nor should we care. If as many of you have kids as you say you do, then you should understand a rebellious child. Moreover, you should understand by now that your kids are the only ones that your opinion matters to. Enough said.
 
Absolutely, pointless arguing. But the bottom line is, he did disrespect his parents by doing something illegal in a place that is not his. His parents are responsible for everything that goes on in that household whether they know about it or not, hence the saying "ignorance is no excuse". They will take the rap regardless, unless they report it to the authorities. And to call his mom a bitch is disrespectful as well, if I ever called my mom a bitch in my 36 years on this earth, I would not be typing this now. Yeah, my mom would have beat me to a pulp if I called her that, but thats neither here nor there man, thats your MOM!! getting your ass kicked by her is the least of the concerns. Thats MOM no matter what. RESPECT is what it is all about.

I wouldda been like get that shit outta here before I dump bleach on it. She could have easily warned you... No reason to just go ahead and do it....

Aslo if you arefollish enough o stink up the house by drying weed, you kinda deserve it. I dried 1/2 a lb an my dad idne even know.. and m house is tiny. Not hat he woud care.

Absolutely not man!! You have to look at this from both sides, gotta be objective. His mom more than likely does not smoke. She is against it. "Its a terrible terrible thing." Come on what more is there to see about this? She finds it what else is she going do with it, remember she does not like it. BUT.....What if she smoked, what would she have done? The possibilities are several. But I bet she would not have destroyed it. I know what I would do if I caught my kids growing. I would take and keep it for my self. Just take it. Its rent man, and it would keep them from selling it and getting busted for dealing. Never would have enough to sell.

I can't believe I just read all this... It was like some kind of juvenile chat room pissing match. Give it about another day or two and they'll be talking that "oh yeah... tell me where you are and i'll kick your ass!" crap. That stuff about "he didn't choose to come into this world" is just hilarious! If you're so badly done to get a job and your own place and grow your brains out. I thought originally we had the "angry young men" with their hats on sideways on here talking all that smack, but they're probably fat guys in their thirties living with mom and playing video games from her couch (when they're not going to StarTrek conventions!) growing or even having weed in your parents house is something no one should do
yes my parents do smoke weed on occasion, they know i smoke weed
but they don't allow it in their house because they both have worked too hard to pay for it and i (as anyone should) respects that
i brought weed on the property once and the flushed it
i understood
also they DONT have to keep u by law
theres a small thing called adoption, and also boot camp
and possesion on their property is more than enough reason to do either of the 2.
