I could be just a noob worrying too much but I figured I would post some pics and call on the almighty RIU gods to help..lol...

SO, I have 3 dutch passion blueberry going and the oldest was planted on March 11th and the other 2 maybe a week later give or take a day or two...

Things were going great up until a couple of days ago when I noticed the leaves starting to droop and the tips of the lower leaves are turning yellow..

I have read through a couple of threads and I'm thinking maybe it has something to do with watering and maybe a little caused by being too close to the lights...

What do you guys/girls think? Do they look ok? I will post a side and top pic of each plants in succession..

Thanks!

look like a light problem..

what kind of light and how many watts are you using..

you should only water your plants when you pick up the pot and it feels alot lighter than when you water them..

i dont have a mag.glass and it seems i wont have one for who knows how long,i dont live in the US so dont even ask how is that,i have a perpetual harvest setup in soil,iv seen alot of experienced growers say that i should wait for the plant to start dying and lose almost all of her leaves before u harvest.is there a big difference in weight and potency in waiting for the extra 10-15days for this or just harvesting when i see the buds have swollen with 80-100% amber hairs and 1/3 or 1/2 of the leaves are dead

i can tell you what i would do but thats just my opinion but you could do whatever your want if anything you would have better dense buds if waiting as long as possible until harvest imo

I have a question about harvesting. OKay, they hairs were about 50-55% amber, and the littlest leaves up close to the hairs had noticeable milky colored trchomes. The buds weren't all that large, but I went ahead and harvested the top half of the plant. Did I do this too soon? What should the other buds look like when they are finished?

it is whatever you want to do... but they are going to be a little pre-mature... you should have waited until about 80% of the hairs were brown... i dont know what you mean when you say you harvested the top half of the plant

Hi, I have a qwick question

Im Growing 3 plants outside and i started very late in the season so their only small and already budding, i didnt TOP any of them earlier and now there about 2-3 weeks into budding, when is it too late to TOP them? i want to maximise the amount of bud i can harvest. Using a mix of worm castings, blood and bone, AM grow/bloom to feed it.

thanks

you sorof answered your own question...

im sorry to say but it is too late because if you top now it wont do anything...your plant is in flower and is using its energy to produce buds.. if you top now you'll just be wasting some bud... all you can do is let it go.. id prefer moving it indoor ASAP and put it under flouro's or mh light 20/4 thats the only way you can put your plant back into veg. state and then you can top and it will grow as big as you want until you change from 20/4 to 12/12 then it will start to put all of its energy back into budding..

did that help..

your out of luck unless you bring them indoor

It may just be me but considering there is an abundance of information and knowledgable people on this site, I would prefer and suggest to others to try and get it from an actual knowledgable source not some guy whos probably never actually grown before pretending to be some elite grower looking for an ego boost.

I mean seriously you come and steal the pics of a member of this site and try to pass them off as your own and act all cool...

The real grower is 04ausername and his current grow can be found here https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/87646-o4s-2008-2009-monster-attempt.html

Well, the bud at the top half of the plant was the only bud I cut off to dry. It was the only bud that was close to being ready, the rest is too immature, so I'll be waiting on that.

I'm still going to call BS unless 04 comes in here and backs that up, especially considering you say you live in New York the opposite side of the globe from him, especially since everything you said earlier "see my avatar ... that is from years of expieriments....i figured out what nutes.. when and where to top.. when to train etc...." heavy use of the word I and lacking the word we considering its not even your plant. Not to mention the entire sentence is contrary to how 04 himself described his grow i.e. The nutes come from dead fish in the hole, he says himself he does little to no topping and training, and the giant bushlike is just a characteristic of the particular strain he has.

If I'm wrong great, I just would think it a little disrespectful claiming credit for someone elses work (very fine work at that) Its just people want to know where there knowledge is coming from reguardless of how accurate it is, and deserve to know if its coming from a very experienced grower or someone whos just compiled alot of knowledge but hasnt ever put a seed in the ground.

you should have left it and let the lower buds fill in a little bit more....some people say that you should let the plant grow and wait until all the fan leaves are yellow and then harvest......but i prefer pruning 1 weed before harvest
