I like HIDHUT, their brand is dependable and has proven itself over time. I think a 400 hps kit with electronic ballast, reflector and bulb is around $150. $120 for a magnetic type, I'd stick with electronic if you have the cash. If you want to exchange the bulb out that comes with the kit for something else email them and they will work with you. I've had some of their electronic ballasts on my aquarium being used on a daily basis for a few years now and have yet to encounter a problem. It's a marine environment so, that's one of the harshest places for electronics to be and they keep on lighting up everyday. I don't care for ebay, it's hard to tell what you end up with sometimes. HTG seems to be popular here but I've seen a lot of problems with their cheap brands of bulbs having a short life span (weeks), you should definitely get a different bulb than what they send you if you order from them.
