Mr. Bitti's 150w HPS Big Bang/Mazar-I-Shariff

I'm feeding them three-part GH and following the bottle's recommendations to a "T". I really think the Greenhouse Seeds Big Bang is very sensitive to nutrients. I don't have a ppm meter, but I star with grocery store RO water that's near zero ppm. pH hovers right below 6.

I have two rubbermaid tubs going, each with two 12" airstones, one is also set up with top drip (hasn't made any difference that I can see). These pics are day 36 overall, day 7 12/12, 400 w HPS / 6" cool tube. The Big Bangs are in the center of the multi-plant shot.
ok man scrap that nute profile

There is something called the Lucas formula for hydro that is using micro/bloom only as well and i think its 8/16ml per gallon. The Lucas method is specific for hydro so you probably want to use that. Make a new mix at something like 5/10 for a few days maybe a week and then you can probably bring it up to the 8/16. The GH recommended dose is way too high,Its alway nice to have a ppm meter but you dont absolutely need one, i dont use one i just know what im mixing in. Anyway man hoe this all helps, there is a ton of info out on the web just type in lucas formula. Hope this helps you out man, keep those girls strong!!

ive been looking at a Mazar-I-shariff thread and have identified my pheno with other growers and they say that it doesn't start packing on weight till week 6-7 and they can go for 10 weeks, i have seen pics of different phenos but also seen pics of my pheno and it was doing the same thing with terrible calyx to leaf ratio at around 5 weeks. Which is one week ahead of mine, I now have a better feeling because i have confirmed this pheno as a slow starter. I hate the fact that shes so slow but i made a decision to keep her instead of another big bang so ill have to wait her out hopefully i can get something decent by week 9. Wish me luck on my Mazar hehe, thanks again for watching guys pics tonight

I wish you luck my brother, it will be a fine smoke :bigjoint:

Hey there Mr Bitti.
Just read through your journal mate. Glad you updated your grow area to give these girls more space.
Things are looking great. Those BB colas are going to be sweet.
Looking forward to seeing them progress.
What week of 12/12 are you in now?

man they are getting fatter everyday!!! now im getting worried becaus the buds are pretty well formed and my rh is still climbing up to 63% at night. I should have a new dehumidifier by friday or monday which is 30 pint capacity and should eliminate all my rot/mold fears/possible problems. they are showing me how much they love this new are plus the extra 150 hps by growing faaat. ill try to get pics very soon, peace

Are you running all your fans during the dark cycle as well?
If they are on 24/7 it will help keep the RH consistent through both cycles.

i run the big fan 24/7 and the pc fans go on to cool the lights. the prob is there is no intake/exhaust when the lights are off. I am in a apartment i gotta give up in december and cant cut a hole really it would be too much work to fix it back up. Anyway the dehumidifier in there should be plenty to keep it very dry. Im hoping for the best in these last 4 weeks.

Mr. Bitti, do you have any estimate on when harvest time will be ?
yea, the big bang should be coming down in the first week of may. if they still look like they wanna go more then ill let them be. Im sure 2 of them will be ready by then. Anyway i think i might stay at school for the whole summer so i might start a few more seeds so i will have to order them. was thinking on doing greenhouse again cus they got good prices for good genes, i would go mandala but i want fem seeds so i dont waste time and space. The Mazar is def gonna get gravity in the final week of april to speed her up. Heres a few pics of the girls showing some love!!

Good going B, the bb is looking fat and dank and I'm sure the mazar will just take a little longer, remember you went from a cab to the closet so I'm sure you're next go in the closet is going to be really sweet if you don't move that is. I'm dealing with high temps and high humidity as well, I never finished the little humidifier conversion yet, been super lazy lately, some times my humidity hits 80% it hasn't been a problem cause I keep good air circulation around the honeys 24/7 and I don't do any misting of the smaller plants when the RH is up. Keep up the good work +rep if it lets me.
