ok so when checking out my ladies today i found a horrid sight one of my girls must have took off and got a back alley sex change. i only found a few balls the plants are 30days into flowering and have been looking great so what should i do, just pull the sacks everyday or just pull and kill the plant all together if i do this can i still harvest the little buds i got so far please help
yeah, kill it. that same thing just happened to me. I do have a few seeds on my other plants. it's good. now I won't have to buy any and there really aren't very many seeds in my bud. that's right. kill it and harvest those little buds. it may taste strange though. the pollen tastes bad.
be sure to collect some of that pollen. cut the plant out of your garden. take it to another room. place it into a plastic bag...just large enough to cover the plant, upside down. gather the top of the bag around the main stem and shake it...side to side, not up n down. remove the plant, close the bag. then search the plant for little yellow sacs and cut them off. put them into the bag. when you think you have enough, put the bag into the freezer, remove most air first. you can remove the air then put the bag into a sealable plastic container, then into the freezer, for protection against getting crushed or popped.
take yer clothes off and wash em before doing anything else...definately don't go back into the grow area...you're covered in pollen! like a big azz bee~~~hahaha
now you can use that pollen at a later grow to pollenate plants of your choice. just put that bag over a branch, closing it around the stem, give it a little shake, let it sit
for awhile to settle the pollen, carefully remove and replace the pollen in the freezer. you should do this in a seperate room and leave the plant there for some time before
returning it to the grow area. wash your clothes again, asap.
also, be sure to label that pollen and date it too. now you're a breeder!
