The best place to look is ebay. I just bought 2 second hand 400w hps/mh lights for £100 second hand including postage which is like $150.

Give HTG a try, lots of good testimony on this site about them. I've gotten two of these & had a bulb prob which they made right with no hassle & fast. Two big thumbs up for HTG.

htgsupply is a great site. ive ordered from bghydro.com and didnt have a single problem with them: quick shipping, decent prices, and great customer service. I ordered a 1000W mh light from them and the bulb came shattered, probably cuz the fucking fedex guy tossed the box even though it had like 50 FRAGILE stickers on it. anyway within 4 days i had a brand new bulb and i didn't even have to argue or hassle with them.

I also say ebay is best choice. I got a virtually brand new 600w hps/mh (both bulbs) w/ air coolable hood and ballast for 170. I say virtually brand new because I am the second owner, but it was all still in it's original packaging.

I like mine BRAND NEW, but thats just me. Discount Hydro is where i got mine. Got the 600 digi balast w/bulb and air cooled reflector for 348.00, that includes the shipping. It would be 299 if you could pick it up. Just my 2 cents, hope it helps and happy growing.

PS. You wont be disopionted with the 600

At this price it does not come with an air cooled reflector but is still a great deal. Good looking out LA9
