!?!Ways to cool a grow cab!?!

okay, i have 2 400w hps/mh lamps with seperate ballasts. Im on a tight budget so cant invest in any major stuff. I have to closets:
Veg- 2'Dx3'Wx4'H
Flower- 2'Dx3'Wx6'H

I haven't started my grow yet as i haven't completly set up the cabs. I know though that I will have major heat issues if I don't get the correct ventilation. I dont have enough to buy 2 cooltubes and I live in the UK so I cant get ahold of those Bake-a-Round things to make one (they cost like £35 cause of shipping). Does anyone have any suggestions

Is there any sort of miny AC unit i could get just to keep the temp down?

Could i just attach a small fan under the reflector so there is a constant fan blowing on the light bulb?

Could I put some sort of cool packs and pack up the cab with ice packs and replace them every day (obviously reusable ones)?

Is there a way to get what fridges use and put a mini fridge system in to cool the cab?

Im just bouncing ideas here, any ideas?:wall::wall::?::wall::?::wall::?::?:

What is the outside temps? I mean the room temp where the cab is at?

You will need massive air circulation of fresh cooler air to cool it down. Cool tubes are the way to go.

Maybe use flouros for veg and only buy one cool tube and use it with the 400HPS for flower.

Cool tubes aren't a vital part of growing. They have their uses, particularly in areas without much vertical space, but you can get by just fine without them.

You can keep an HPS cool simply by having adequate ventilation, which means a decent extractor fan. Try to keep your airflow seperated by intaking from a different area than wherever you extract to.

Thanks for the help, i shall give it a go without cooltubes and if not then i shall sell one light and get 1 cooltube and one 300w cfl for vegging.

Maybe you should try a test run? That way you'll know what you are up against. It maybe all you need is a simple extraction fan for a even exchange of air. Just a thought Good luck.

Check the DIY section. Thats how i learned to make my cooltube and I used hurricane glass not a bake a round. Built for under 30 dollars and works like a million.
