What if I grew with a net instead of wiring for the SOG method. Would it work the same?

Im thinking worse, unless the net is very stiff..

And.

Whats the best way to preserve a long lasting mother plant?

Im thinking semi large [3-5] gal bucket. Shouldnt be root bound for a long time.

for the five gallon bucket what if you started the mother plant in it??

It should last the lifetime of the mother to be honest. But its just a guesstimate since i havnt tested myself. I will, but it will months before i could get an accurate result. Anyother questions?!

You can prevent root bound by feeding your mother plants and late stage budding plants a product called cannazym. Its a root stimulator which just means it eats at the roots a little. Not a bad things, its like getting a hair cut. They absorb nutrients a lot better with this but its super expensive.
If you want to do this the cheap way you can pull the mom out lovingly and cut the hair yourself. Put in new soil and feed root additives, phosphorus. And you can keep them indefinably, I think. You have to do this every 6 months or so depending on how often you take clones or the root will start to ball in the center and you don't want to go fiddling in that.

Thanks for the input! I just harvested and i considered attempting rejuvenation on my plants. I decided on starting a fresh grow

Oh and the net sounds like a flimsy idea.

Maybe you could reinforce it by adding chains every foot or two.

you could buy a chain link fence piece for really cheap, probably even find them lying around the city.

Im just trying to think of new ways to manipulate my plants.. I mean there are so many possibilities when you think about it. They grow towards light. You, place something in front if it, and they grow around. Its simply beautiful. Now to come up with a way to take advantage of it.

a really good grower buddie i have mentioned something about useing chicken wire when growing i guess you just put it around the plant and supoley somehow it grows mor budds or something has anybody heard such a thing

something more or less like this. Im thinking, break it up even more and get more tops. Get all those small buds that are normally at the bottom to get even more light. Im not 100% on it though.

This is essentially what I want to do with my plants, the screen would be 5ft tall and a wall of buds come harvest time.

If you sew them around until your run out of space you will have a perfect even coverage and there is no need for 2 layers.
