I Think I Found A Good Stoner Job

I am always looking for good stoner jobs and self employment. Well the other day I ran across something that I think has potential. It is putting breathalyzers in local bars, clubs, anywhere that serves alcohol. You give the bar owner a percentage of whatever you make. Usually 30%. Minimum upkeep, they run on regular straws. 24 month warranty and service. So basically it would take a little leg work to find locations but once your in it would seem to be self-running. Here is the site: http://breathtestersusa.com/
I called and spoke with them and she said that to get it up and running with their franchise name is under 10K, this includes 3 machines. She said any other machine would be sold at a discount. She said each machine yields an average of $500 a month. She also said bars love them because it helps with their liabilty insurance. I don't know but this sort of looks good to me.
Any input is appreciated. Thanks.:peace:

Not only is that a good idea... that's an awesome thing to do. I'd say go for it if you've got the start-up cash!
I think it might take off, I really do. She said the bars and clubs really seem to be receptive of it and the patrons use them. As far as the start up costs, they do offer financing too. I was thinking of getting a partner and using this to offset my income. I don't know, that is why I am putting it out here, I would like to hear if anyone can think of any negatives not to do this. It has my interest pretty good.:joint::joint:

If you have the money, you should find the bars first, just in case you strike out. No use spending money if you don't have the clients.

The area I want to be in she said is wide open. She said there was not any competition. (atleast not registered) But, yeah I know what you mean. I was thinking of grabbing the yellow pages and just going down them and calling and asking if they have any and if not would they be interested? I don't know, but if she is right about the competition in my area this could really pan out. I have a lot to learn yet.

That's a good idea, too! I can't see why bars wouldn't be interested... and you're really articulate, sunny, so I think they'd hear ya out. Getting a partner seems like a decent idea, too! And if you've cornered the market in your area, then... yeah, go for eeeet!

i dont think its worth your while cause anyone that drinks and drive doesnt give a bollox so why would they be checking if there under the limit i kno it sounds good but its incouraging people to drink and drive just because a machine says your ok to drive doesnt mean you are!

I don't think it is about people doing the right thing...I think it is about a bunch of people out partying and laughing and saying "Go blow on that thing and see how drunk you are, lol" That is what I envision anyway...but, I have been known to be wrong a time or two...Thanks for your input.:joint:

You do bring up a good point though. I need to ask them what happens if the machine fails and tells someone it is okay to drive? Who would be liable? Wow, thanks for the input!!

We used to do that ALL the time. We'd go to parties and whip out the breathalyzer. The winner would get another drink of course. It's fun. People would be all over that.

Seems like a pretty good idea to me.
The only issue I can think of is what the other dude was talking about.

Who is liable if the machine fails and someone goes out drinking and driving or potentially kills someone?

Yeah that has me worried. I put it down on my list of questions for her...I plan to have a conference call with her on Monday and I am hoping this thread will give me some good questions to ask her.
I do think this could work though. I really do....

It has potential with enough machines.
To be honest it definitely sparked my interest. I have been looking for something like this for a while now.

You should call, they were really informative. they will even scope the region your in to tell you of your competition. This chick was a freak, she runs the whole show and has even hired private detectives to scope on competition. I really think this is a good one. Very minimal to do. You install them, go there monthly and empty them, give the bar owner their cut and your gone. Sort of like the slot machines you see in the bars. I am researching it more, but, I am taking this seriously.

Research is never a bad thing, after all. It does sound pretty tempting, and the most legitimate money-making venture that I've come across in awhile. My girlfriend almost got sucked in to the Melaluca scam... the person pitching it to her was a real asshole about it when she changed her mind midway. I mean... she did the research and found out it was a pyramid scheme. So... you get pissed at her for not wanting to be scammed? WTF... people...
