growing shrooms outdoors

i want to grow shrooms outdoors this summer and i heard all u need to do is find cow manuor and inject spores in it and come back 3 days later and u got a whole patch..wat are yalls thoughts i need help really bad as yall can probably tell:confused:

but i mean ive read a lot of shit online on growingoutdoors and they make it seem soo complicated. thats seriously all i do? do ido it in the shade or the sun or what. do u no anything more about it

does matter just wet and warm part shade part sun still get 12/12 so it doesn'e matter to much

lol...Heres a step by step guide for growing outdoors. Yes you can use horse manure as an outdoor substrate, but you can not just simply inject it with spores and expect to get mushrooms. Your going to need to read up on the PF TEK at the shroomery.org forums. It will teach you about using brown rice flower cakes to make mycelium. Once you do some reading you'll understand what I'm saying next. When growing outdoors I don't bother using brown rice flower. I just inject sterilized jars of whole brown rice. I just boil the rice about 10 mins at a full boil and strain it. Your still going to need to cover the top 3/4 inch or so with vermiculite then sterilize. Once those jars are fully colonized, which will take about 2-3 weeks, you then are going to add these jars as spawn to your bigger outdoor substrate. Now your going to have to find field aged horse manure. If you can't you can use fresh, but your going to have to leech it several times. Your other options for bulk substrates include straw, coco coir, as well as several others. Finding a good grow spot is the next step. I like making 6 by 6 foot plots about 6 inches deep with moist horse manure. I usually find a spot that gets no more then a few hours of direct sunlight, like under a tree (the shade helps keep the environment moist). So once you have your spot ready you are going to break up the fully colonized cakes into pieces a little smaller then a golf ball. Mix the pieces around well and then cover the plot with cardboard and then cover the cardboard with leaves, sticks, small rocks, make it blend in. In 2-3 weeks take off the cardboard, but still cover the newly colonized substrate with leaves and some other stuff to help it blend in. Check the patch after it rains. or you can add water to make it fruit. You'll be getting mushrooms off it all summer.

lol its not that easy or that hard. get some spores, make some cakes let them fully colonize, dig a lil hole fill it with you substrate plus some damp pasturized straw and cow shit and keep it moist!!!! dont put it in a sunny spot but a shaded one. depending on were u are you may not be able to grow cubenis cuzzthey need a warm moist climate. you could do som wood loving azures they need a cooler moist climate. and are 2ce has potent

yeah i know about colonizing for half a month then 1 to 2 weeks in fruiting

long bullshit process ive tried 3 times never got my jars to clonize

Dude just make you are clean,and when i say clean i mean very clean,oh and you have to start with good spores.And the most important thing is to have Patience.:weed:

you can get away with steaming rice or pf jars but not rye, wild bird seed, cracked corn, ect. its no hard to do

just be clean when you innoc. spray the room down with lysol, let it sit fo a min. clean your hands, and use freshly cleaned clothes, and wear a lil mask or a bandanna around your mouth, flame the spore syring untill the tip gets red and whipe it with an alcohal pad and quickely inject each jar. dont forget to reflame the needle after every jar!!! then let the jars sit in somplace warm like 85 degrees untill they colonize

hahaha...misinformation alert.

growing mushrooms outdoors takes months, and fruiting occurs maybe 3 months after you "innoculate" anything. Depending on the species, you must coincide with climates and such. In other words, not all species can be grown in the same environment. If you want magics, try P. Azurensis; they fruit in near-0 temperatures, and are great for more northern climates in the fall.

You first need spores, live culture or similar of the species you want, that is already colonized a substrate. For an outdoor patch you need alot of substrate, atleast 4ftx4ft for a nice healthy patch. This takes time, and is usually stalled by contaminations. All of this occurs before you get outside.

I'd recommend trying some edible species before you try the magics, to get a feel for the dynamics of mushroom biology. It is simple in theory, and can be very simple in practice if you reserach and get a method going first.

But you do not get mushrooms in 3 days. I wish. Sporeworks is okay, there are better suppliers however. PM me if you want more information.
