how big were the holes that they were put in. Usually from my experience a decent hole about a cubic foot is needed for the roots to grow enough. Make sure soil is not too hard, and that any clay has been removed under plants. May be too late now. You may need to add good soil as well depending on the soil that is there. You might want to try and dig them up, but dig way under and around to try and not harm any roots. Also depending on location it may be a little early to have them out since beginning of april, there has been some cold nights where I am the last couple weeks and would kill most plants that were out. Also make sure they are getting plenty of sunlight.
