Welcome to my grow log fellow stoners, this is my fourth Indoor Grow, Ive had probably 5-6 outdoor grows before this. But ever since i started indoor Ive fell in love with it.

I purchased my seeds online, i chose pick and mix seeds, where i chose..


Barneys Farm - G13 Haze x2
Barneys Farm - Blue Cheese x2
Seedsmans - White Widdow x2

Well, one blue cheese was a premature seed and they actually replaced both of em so i got 2 extra blue cheeses i havent even germinated yet, i started with but since 1 blue cheese was premature it didnt germinate so i just stuck with 5.

Ive been vegitating for about 5 weeks, and i just began flowering 2 days ago. Havent had no problems yet, nothing major anyways. First I had a problem with heat, So I installed a window Ac for 100 bucks and it works AMAZING. Keeps my two 600w HPS bulbs at about 80-83 degrees.

I did have minor ph problems early in veg growth just because i was lazy and i wasnt phing my water when they were sprouts because they were doing just fine with the tap water originally, and I noticed a slight discolor and since than i began phing my water. My ph is currently at about 6.2 when i checked it today. I know certain people like 6.5-6.7 but 6.2 has been just fine for me.

I run a dayton 273cfm blower to exaust my grow tent, and i run two seperate 90 cfm exaust fans that u can get at home depot, in which i have sucking in the cold air coming in from the air conditioner.

Im using FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil, and all Foxfarm nutes except for my Iguana juice. I veged under three two bulb t8 fixtures and just two days ago I put up one of the HPS fixtures. Im gonna flower with two fixtures but ill put up the other one after they begin to bud, all my seeds are feminized. Also, i advise any grower whos looking for tips in my thread to definetly pay extra for a better hood, you dont want the cheap reflectors I have, they are quite hard to keep your tent cool if u got a grow tent, definetly have a cool tube or pay a lil more and get a aircooled reflector your better off in the long run.

I'll begin to tie my plants down in a week or so, just like I did in my last grow which worked out amazing. I harvested about 3/4 of pound on each of my plants which i only 3 last time.

Im really excited for this grow, I paid a arm and a leg for these seeds and all my new grow equipment. I started back in 2005 growing indoor with just two cfls and now I have so much Grow Equipment I had to put some stuff away in boxes.

ill be following along as well, when i was in amsterdam i bought some of the g13 x haze from barneys coffeshop wow that stuff was amazing

its 4x4x7 i only have 5 plants in it right now, but i took cuttings for mothers already i have them in a separate room in a propaganda dome right now, after this grow i plan on running a sog or scrog, i can easily fit 16 plants in 3 gal bags in there and pull a fat amount of bud every 2 months by vegin clones as im flowering. Ill post pics of the c02 when i get it going, I was gonna do it the cheap way using yeast, but i went out on a limb and paid for it at discount-hydro. i pulled 3/4 a pound of each plant in my last grow so im hoping i can pull somewhere around the same amount with the 3gal growbags rather than the 8 gal pots i used last time that took up all the space. i wish i had the rooom you have, with the room you have you should really invest in 1000w hps rather than 600w. i run 2 600w's but its perfect for my small space, im gonna start lsting in a couple weeks.

niiiice man, what was your vegging time for the 3/4 pounders?

and yea i plan on doing something crazy my next grow, got any ideas? like how many plants, light arrangement, etc. just post it on my thread if u have any. and i have 3 600w, i cant really switch to 1000s cuz im pullin enough power as it is, but man it would be so nice, soo much penetration, but for now i think im ok with the 3

im growing in 5gal pots with coco do u think i should go lower?

you have a 4x4 room? with 2 x 600w in?

how are you cooling this down?

how big is your co2 tank?

problem with the c02 regulator is that its leaking for some reason and im not sure what the problem is yet, but i dont need c02 for the temps but i would like it because marijuana as a plant can use 7x the amount of c02 thats normally in the air. im sure most of you know this allready, but its a pretty interesting fact.

i used to grow commercially a while back, i came very close to getting busted and had to give things up for a while,

back then i used to grow massive amounts of plants and i had multiple light setups, i invested also in a 20lb tank with solenoid/regulator, i still have that equipment but its sitting in storage.

i got the same sized tent as yourself and i also run 2x600w in it, i use a 6 inch ruk fan and filter to exhaust, but unfortunately i have to run it full time to keep the temps right and also as soon as i turn it off my house starts to stink.

I haven't used the co2 setup in the tent because it would be oh so expensive to run it, no sooner had i pumped it in i would have sucked it back out again.

There seems to be quite a few trade offs just to have it concealed in a tent,so now ii'm just pumping in fresh air from outside as the house i own is so close to my mother in laws house, they pop over fairly regularly so smell can not be an issue at all.

I wish you all the best with your grow and hope you can solve a problem that i haven't managed to yet.

If you do get it all set though,

you should pump your co2 into the upper part of the tent and have fans at the lower part to blow the co2 back up, as co2 is heavier than oxygen and if you don't keep it high it will just sit underneath the plants making no effect

awww what the c02 leaking an u just got it! i would be pissed!

im getting a c02 set-up for my next grow so i will be watchin to see what you go through

Anyway it goes it is a nice setup. I have four plants under a 400W MH, and GlowPanel45, when it comes time to flower i will be switching to HPS for flowering only. So Far everything looks good in my grow although i would't mind getting a co2 tank to put some extra co2 in the air.

its a waste of money using 2 600 w hps lights in a 4x4x7 room with only 5 plant.1st things first,for a 4x4 room you should be using only 1 600 w lamp since the hood should provive more then enough coverage for your room,and you it will cut down your heat and energy costs by half. Your roon should be and around 78 f and and hum around 65-75 for veg and 40-50 % for flowering as not to promote mold from forming on your NUGS.You seem to have the right set-up in terms of your ventilation so your good there.

My flowering room is 4x5x6 with a 600w HPS lamp 1 intake and 1 exaust with a temp at 78 F and a hum at 50 %.
My latest strain is a Narpal which is a pure Indica strain that has a super body stone and is often used by MMU
(medical marijuana users)for its pain relieving.I yield around 12-14 ounces every month ( close to a pound )

4ft x 4ft = 16 sq ft

600 = 37.5 watts per square foot

most experienced growers usually go by a minimum of 50w of hid lighting per square foot ranging upto 100w per square foot

2 600s obviously provides 75w per square foot

therefore 1 lamp does not provide more than enough coverage for his room
