Did you cut down your usage before you moved?

If you are smoking heavily, and quit on a days notice, then you will go through withdrawals. I'm talking actual withdrawals, not just the sleep bullshit.

Cold sweats, anxiety, erratic mood, "fiending"

I,ve been a fairly heavy smoker for 12 years and had to quit two months ago due to trying to find a job. I did not experience any of those symptoms asside from still wanting to burn one. It was actually a lot easier than I thought it would be. Not one noticeable physical withdrawl. Maybe it just varies from person to person though. :joint:

I almost wonder if it could be an age thing, now that I think about it...

In my younger days, I used to get bad withdrawals, but theyre not too bad anymore. Just cravings.

It could be an age thing. I've never experienced any really bad physical symptoms myself. The post I put up earlier was just some things I've noticed, but I'm sure there are plenty of other things. To flatrider- a little paranoia is a plus...just don't let it consume you.

The only ill side effect (other than trouble sleeping) is sometimes I get nauseaous and my stomach goes all out of whack...I hate the first 3 days. I usually can't last past the first day, lol.:eyesmoke:

I smoked a few times when I was 17 and then I did not smoke for 2 years. around 20 I became a regular smoker for the next 6-7 years. Quit cold turkey for a job, just wanted to burn one occationally. didn't smoke for a few years, then started smoking again. Quit again for about 5 years and did not start smoking again untill medical issues left me the decision, more perscription pain killers, or pot. Been smoking for about 3 years legally now..

When I was younger I was a little more difficult because you tend to focus in on stuff more and get more emotional about it. Yea, short term memory goes a little if your smoking heavily. If im smoking one or twice an evening and thats it, no noticeable memory issues. If im getting high all day for a few weeks (cronic pain, it happens), yeah it suffers and i'll be more apt to sit on my ass and smoke.

That never happened to me, I smoked everyday VERY heavily for over a year. Not much happened I just quit cold turkey.
