N deficent? rootbound? pic

Yeah those NPK sound perfect to topdress. I myself use a veg formula with NPK like that. I then topdress. Also I throw some into the tea and this round I even added a cap of extra fish! They loved it. I add about 2 tbsp to the pot.

Oh yeah, def go full str, it is a nute def most likely unless your soil is fully amended.

im using totaly unfertilized soil with 25% perlite.,
ill defo do the topdress and let u know how it goes ..
still wondering what epsom salts is/and what it does?

dont go with the dosage stated on the attatchment i posted.
use 1 level teaspoon per gallon(4.5 litres).

i will change my avatar to a picture of my house.
(i use a quarter teaspoon per 2 litres as thats all the water i need).
and only give epson salts as a one off dose.i usually give it a shot about 3 weeks into flowering and thats enough untill harvest.
be very carefull not to give too much salts as it will lock out other nutes.
its better to underfeed than overfeed salts and you should see a difference in 2-3 days which will eliminate any concerns about nitrogen defficiencys.

When it gets into plant health I'm really amazed at the responces. "It might need more this, it might need more that." The problem is so myopically viewed that most seem to lose site of the big picture.

It's very difficult to pinpoint a plant health problem in many circumstances. Many nutrient imbalances overlap each other giving false diagnosis. Is it not enough of this? Is it too much of that? Is it the pH off?

Like any problem there are multiple steps to figure out what the problem is. Common sense and a strategic approach will definately help.

Right now there isn't enough information to answer your question properly....and it could be one or a combination of things. In general, yellow leaves are the number one sign of nitrogen problems. It can't get any easier than that.

So, if the nitrogen problem a result of a simple lack of nitrogen? Is there something from keeping the nitrogen from being absorbed?

I've helped many friends and clients with their issues. Nutrition is the hardest to deal with. My first suggestions are to flush the plant with fresh water and start from scratch with a well established Veg formula.

I have over hundreds of competing products for nutrition (my lord, there are so many) on my shelves. I don't recommend one over the other...it's like saying Shell gas is better than Phillips gas. Read the label and research if it's an established brand. Bontanica, Pureblend, Earth Juice, whatever.

Follow the instructions on the label (for veg it's usually a tablespoon for a gallon of water) and observe the next few days. At this point we know the right balance is there. When a few days is up, observe the plant and take it from there.

The problem with saying something like "It needs more P" or "It needs more X" is it's very difficult to find just P or just X. You have to buy a supplement that contains other nutrients. Sure, now your plant has more X but now it has way too much Y and Z. Ugghhh....imbalanced once again.

Remember, it's just a plant. Use a balanced formula and it should eliminate many problems.
 
so this is what im going to do if u guys think i shud,
soon as they dry out
ill flush all plants
mix full dose nutes with epsom salts
after flushed ill give the guano a mix into the soggy surface
then pour the nute & salts threw untill i get a good runoff from each pot
then sit the pots on towels to suck exess moisture from the pots

if u herd of bio canna vega, i use that,, is it good enough? is cost enough

complete bullshit mate.any experienced grower can pinpoint a plant defficiency and nutrient dosages and npk figures is kids stuff.

its normal, leaves yellow because its not needed anymore, the plant will focus the energy in the top half, especially in flower all your leaves will bronze and fall off. It is a nitrogen deficiency, in veg add nutes in flower start flush soon week 7 flower latest

go with epsons at the dose i said and see what happens and i am sure if your nitrogen levels/dosages are ok the you will be pleasantly surprised.
and dont bother with guano just grow as nature intended like me(pure organic).

u have a nitrogen def, flush, let sit for a couple of days and dry out and then water her with a little less nutes then before then kick it back up to full strenght later on. this is common with newbs, ive had this all the time, its not really a big deal, but it will affect ur grow. ive lost plenty of plants to nitrogen def. read up on ur plant problems, and not just on this site, u need pictures of leaves and plants to give u a better feel for what u are looking for in plant problems.
 
yea but if its a n def, flushing my plants and not adding nutes after will make it worse wont it,,
so many diffrent answers but whos right man ,what really is the thing to do
ive herd a few people mention epsom salts tho,,
and guano is organic innit
