6(H)x4.3(W)x2(D)ft, 45L NFT, 600W - how many plants?

Hey guys, about to get a 45L NFT grow set up in my 6x4.3x2ft cupboard (HxWxD) underneath an aircooled 600W lamp, with a 4" inline fan extracting through a carbon filter and another desk fan blowing on the plants, which will be jack herer n kali mist.

The NFT guide says i can grow 6-8 plants, so I was wondering if I should stick eight in there, or just go for six?

do you have any pictures of your set up? that would help. I am looking to set up something similar to this. Good luck

I'd start the 8 cause you could end up with less because of males or hermies. If by chance all 8 are female then put the other 2 outside if that option is available. if not get your buddy to raise one or both and you still get half. that would also be a good way to see wether your set is worth it. I'm sure it is! GL keep atter!

bushmang - i'm not gonna go sog this round, want to appreciate the plants in all their natural glory first ^^

dragonsmoke - i'm gonna germ all 20 seeds I think, then force sex early with the bag on branch trick and weed out the males and any runty females =)

I used that exact same dimension as you did, except i used a 1000W HPS instead, NFT everything. I harvested a few days ago, got 1.5lb from it - 8 plants, each plant ranging from 0.5m to 1m tall, started from clones (rooted that is), flowered when they were about 15-20'ish cm tall. I had two breeds, 4 sativas and 4 indicas.
