Temperatures over 80 degrees break down THC so using an oven or microwave or anything that produces heat over 80 degrees is not the best way to quick dry bud for a test since you will lose THC and what you smoke will not be truly representative of what was grown.
You are right my friend and exactly why the finished product will be incredible!
What I found to be a good way to sample cannabis in the oven for quick drying is to use Stoneware to dry it on.
It does make a difference and make sure that the oven is no more than in the 90's at the coolest setting possible.
Another reason for the smoothness in the smoke that I grow these days, is that I use no bottled fertilizers at all.
I do everything in my growbeds natural.
The finished product is always exceptional when properly cured as you know, but the little Stoneware and oven trick has been a pretty good way to get a jest on how your girls are cooking and that would be the only reason to do it at all.
One of the many observations that I have made since using growbeads, is that the flowering times are always longer by several weeks, but the end result is enough to make the avid Cannabis users in my family, do allot of crying in between harvests and always waiting in line to get " Preacher Boys " sweet and natural grown medicine.
I plan on writing up a whole article very soon " may get good responses and may not, " but I believe that the " Great Spirit " has given me allot of insight on the odd behaviors that these girls can have when grown together in large grow boxes verses planting them as individuals.
They interact in funny ways at times and their behaviors are truly unique in this type setup.
For the new folk and experianced that like yield and especially stealth " they may not be interested in this way of doing it? "
However, the way I do it now, has proven to be the best way to grow organic smoke that is not only potent as you could ask for, but can be dried in an oven and still be smooth, dried and cured properly, " it is smoother than good and fresh Indian Tobacco. "
I am rambling as I am in a very Blessed mood this morning and thanks for any and all comments my friends.
Be Blessed, Rev. TheNatural
