ya i'd say they look real good and healthy. Good color and everythin... all id say is for me i'd wish i had more tubs goin!

Looks even better than mine though.. so good stuff. Mine the color are nice and green, but the lower leaves are brown and yellowy.. and i trim the hell outta them so they look pretty beat up actually. But they still good moms :hump:

Hey chusett. Its real hard to actually keep a mom in DWC veg before it completey out grows the veg area. Or u are set-up with a big enough flower pad to continuously keep cutting and filling with.. I Personally havent been able to keep a mom loneger than 3 months.. Millions of cuts haha.
Point is Id find a food schedule they run nice at.. If they overgrow.. Always leave an original top to mom and reclone all over again.
Theres all kinds of ways ive found to keep moms but this is the most efficient way i guess that i have found..
Otherwise u r going to have to under nourish them to keep them tame before they grow out of ur area..
U could always just keep feeding and tossing the cuts regularly when u dont need them to.
But its best to give them what they want i guess..Afterall healthy moms bring the fastest and most vigourous clones..
If u underfeed be sure not to have to much light on them to counterbalance less nutrients i guess.
Sounds like u just need to make some adjustments.
But it does sound like they may be undernourished a bit.. U have a pic to look at from today?

ya i just put them in it..i originally had two tubs on one another it was areoponic too start them off but it leaked a lil so now here they are stil lookin healthy

Hey bro.. i will post some pics tmrw if i can.. i have to get my phone cable from someones car.

I did mean it in my comment on those plants being nicer looking than mine.. it seems to have a nicer green.. but maybe its his camera .. or maybe its my plants differences.. du nno. Other wise.. besides me trimming the mums.. they are pretty healthy! The lower leaves was when i had a nute def (remember when i was PMing you a while back).. i fixed the def and so only the lower leaves on 2 plants are bad. Otherwise they are good.

I'll monitor the area to see how it goes to see if i will refresh the moms like you.. but i might just do it this way. I like trimming (even the leaves) and look frward to the leaves that i'll make stuff with later! I'm doing bonsai like i said.. i'll see how long i can keep them healthy i'll keep takign cuttings!

Im going to move these moms over to buckets soon too.. gonna keep them small.

My clones are actually what's worrying me right now.. u'll see in the pics tmrw.

Good lookin on the stuff though! :peace:

damn my clones aren't doing so hot...

it seems the pattern is everyday i wake up .. theres one more clone thats droopy and wilting. Strange they were fine for 3 days or so after cutting andthen now this. I got the dome.. i keep misting.. all of them are under the same lights and RW cubes only get moistened when its dry on bottom.

I dunno but tthese bitches better standup soon

hey man.. yeah RW cubes were soaked 24 hrs.. didn't soak it in "5,5" water though.. just reg tap water becoz believe it or not my tap water is actually 6.0! I just soak hv a huge bucket of tap water that sits in my kitchen 24/7 just to dechlorinate.. so most small waterings or in this case RW soaking is with that bucket water.

Rooting hormone used was rootone rooting powder..

So ya everything should be OK but just a few clones wilting.. and seems like one more everyday. My methods were the same for the seedlings i started a month ago so i think im not making any major mistakes.. im sure im just not catching a small error.


Anyways.. heres some pics guys that will show more. Im guessing it could possibly be "over humidity"? My closet is already like 44% humidity as itself.. with the dome on could it cause these leaves to wilt? Im not sure just a guess.

Also in case this matters.. i actually was misting these clone\s with seltzer water for like 3 days straight .. not sure if thats doing the damage here but bottom line is all the other clones are OK.. so im just not able to figure out what is making one clone at a time fail. Very strange. Signs indicate to overwatering because of the curling drooping.. and the leaves are NOT dried or crisp so im guesing overwatering or the overhumidity stuff i said. You pros let me know the deal...








if thgere is no such thing as overhumidity .. then its probably overwater. I just dont know how the other ones arent affected as i do the same for all RW's.. and i only moisten when dry on bottom :(

thanks dude.. i'll keep on it and let you guys know. At least the stems are all verys trong.. just leaves wilting. It could be that like you said its natural? This is my first grow ever.. lol so ive never done any of this stuff before. I'm doing pretty good though for a newbie DWCer and cloner haha.


And MM.. good stuff on the berry porn. Makes me jealous :)

Hey chusett man.. Its very hard to say whether they too wet or too dry man..Would need to see a pic of the wool itself..
Its natural for leaves to sag for the first 24-48 hours bro at least in my experience but doesnt happen alot but does happen on some cuttings.
Another grower here (Dewey Kox)actually described it best for people using wool..
He Presoaks pops his cut in and usually has roots before he has to water again man..
Point of that statement is.. Do not over water the wool.. Some of the later rooting clones will require a tablespoon of water per day around the base but absoloutley not until the wool looks dry.. Or just moist to the touch.
It looks like u are under a dome as well.. If u think ur clones are to wet crack it a little.. If they perk up u will know whats wrong man.

Also think ur doing an awesome job first grow man.
If u can get ahold of some peat spounges get them.. Makes cloning very easy.

yeah dude thanks for the advice.. i been reading up to see if theres such a problem as "over humidity" for clones or seedlings and i cant find anything on it. Alot of people majority wise say you neeed humidity or humidity dome, while some say you dont need it.. but noone actually mentions antying about OVERhumidity anywhere that i can find.

So im guessing i am somehow overwatering the RW..(even though i honestly only dipped the bottom of the cube in water when it was dry) or that the seltzer water misting did more bad than good. All i can do now is just back off from watering.. and just wait it out to see what it was. I'll keep the dome on.. the 2 CFL bulbs will remain 24hrs for now...and i'll keep misting the DOME but not the cuttings.. and keep you guys posted!
