Tell me it isnt so.....male plant :(|) ?

Hey guys,

Its 8 days into the 12/12 cycle and I think the sex is starting to show on my plants.... I have been staring at the plants, and comparing pics online for the last 2 days, but i still cant tell if these are male or female.

I fear my indica is male :*( - i took such care and love, and this is how it repays me ...

1st 2 pics are the 1 indica
Others are different sativas

Any help appreciated. My first grow and if this plants a dude, hes gotta go

Ok guys, just took some more photos. Appears the 1 indica is male and 1 sativa is male.... :shock::cuss:. I've never been so upset and traumatized to see a male sac in my life.....
Why god, why?!!!

Anyway before I send them off to be chomped by my recycling machine "dave", can you guys confirm they are male. Its my first grow and I want to be 100% sure, because once dave gets hold of them......

1st pic is indica
2nd is indica also
3rd is sativa
4th.....dave


Also, do females show sex later than males? My other plants show no seed sacs like above, so i assume they are females.

haha yeah,....hope daves hungry, hes got alot of work to do (plant is like 5ft by 3ft and the other is 7 ft by 4ft....monsters they would have been....monsters ):cry:

lucky though got 2 more plants and my special lady is still...a lady -7ft by 4ft also. and bushy like an afro on nutes...:bigjoint:

The other plant, also female....is about 1 ft, by 1 ft, and scrawny and sparce like a balding mans head.....

took 3 clones from the big girl last night though muahahah!

You could of tried breeding. Grow out a few of those balls at a different location and pollinate a few branches of a female to seed them, to have future seeds for the next grow.

Oh he will be.....if its green, he eats it.

Least the plant served some purpose...

Not sure what to do about the hermie though, cut it down or see if there are any stems/branches with just female flowers and keep.....actually nvm. Not worth risking.

....Dave....he will appreciate it.

Here is some good information on LED's,

"I've heard one sales pitch for indoor lighting, promoting LEDs to replace Metal Halide and Fluorescent for factory assembly work with the claim that less lumens are acceptable due to that "Scotopic Advantage." This couldn't be more misleading. As you can clearly see, any type of visual work requires direct focus which relies upon the cones, which allows no Scotopic advantage whatsoever. Even worse, detailed assembly work can have parts and pieces of wide color range for which the LED is known to be deficient in the red region. There will be objects that appear an abnormal color under LED lighting.

...thanks for that. I use 600w HPS, but all this talk about lights wont make my male into a female.....ohh the pain, ...the pain..

p.s Dave seems to like the taste. Normally he likes to catch the live fish in his aquarium, this evening though, he munched through 12 leaves and 6 stems, spared the fishes.

Tomorrow I will prepare him a special dinner, leaves, with a hint of pollen sac, topped with some stems over a mushed up banana.

...What would i do without good ol' dave. (hes only 2 years old, has another 50-70 years left.....)....I can see me and dave are gonna be best buddies for life.
