seedsman feminized seeds are sucks !

i bought 5 seedsman WW fem seeds from attitude and 2 of them is male ! there is 2 female and one of them hasnt shown sex yet .

they are sucks , i paid them for 100% fem seeds but there is 50% fem ratio.

I ordered a pack of LA confidential and someothers from the attitude and not one pack had a 100% germ rate and none of the LAconfidential germed. These seeds werent mine A friend had me order them. I emailed the attitude and they said they were sorry I didnt like thier novelties and that the best thing they could do is refer me to the breeder.

guys i am screwed !

one of them is male as well! so i have 3 male plants from 5 feminized seeds.

( and a female WW plant looks like hermie but it is early to say that.i hope it wont be hermie )

i am waiting their mail.i emailed attitude and seedsman.

i will never buy cheap seeds again. i think expensive fem seeds such as dutch passion strains should have100% fem ratio,shouldnt they ?

were the plants stressed? I have heard that stress can cause this effect. Did you plant them all the same time? I would think Seedman would do something for you? Not sure what type hoops they would send you thru but you would think the man. would be interested in this type info. in case they have a batch issue? Don't think Attitude had much to do with it but they should be interested in your continued business by communicating the issue to Seedman. interesting...

no bro there is nothing to stress plants. i planted all seeds at the same time. my tent is completely dark. if there was a problem, i think skunk 1s would be effected,too.

Feminization does not guarantee you will not get male beans. You're still subject to odds, just better odds. You're buying an increased chance at females, nothing more. And even sometimes those odds are not that great.... Happens to us all...

Do you even know anything about the process of making fem beans? There are a few methods but they basically involve poisoning, stress, etc. It is an art, and by no means a guaranteed or perfect science.

Do your homework a bit before you go out badmouthing seed banks and breeders.... LOL

It's certainly not attitudes fault. They are a middleman selling you a product produced by a third party. And the breeder, well, they certainly are not going to do anything for you. Especially after going to a public forum to blast them. I'd let you rot if it were me.

Again, Do a bit of research before your next bean purchase. And if you do have a problem related to genetics or the beans themselves, your issue is with the breeder, not the middleman that fulfilled their obligation to you and delivered the items you ordered.

I reread this thread and don't see anything completely out of hand on the subject. I do think its ok to post a seed issue for others input and to see if this is an ongoing problem. I am quite sure Seedman would like to know if their product isn't working correctly. That appears to be the case here. I am fairly new and from reading fem seeds are kind of new to the industry. I can undestand why he isn't happy and may not buy fem seeds again because they do cost more but that is his buying decision. I think your a little strong in your comments but in the usa you are free to have a different view. I would like to know in a professional feedback what Seedsman says about the subject? I am sure there are those that would take advantage of the seedbank. No matter what the product is issues and problems need to be communicated back to the manufacture if the product is not meeting the needs of the buying consumer.

dude,i pay for feminized seeds to get female plants ! most seedbanks have 100% female guarantee for their feminized seeds .that is why they are called as " feminized " .

if somebody dont get female plants from feminized seeds,there must be a trouble IMO .

why shouldnt i post this issue on forums ? should it remain as a secret ? if i were happy with seeds, i would post my happiness in forums. eg,when i received my seeds, i said " attitude is great reseller " .

and furthermore i will say if i see anything wrong such as unpopped seeds or male feminized seeds.they may help me or they may not , it is their own strategy .i am just a single customer. that is all.

So, with this in mind, is it not reasonable to expect 100% females from FEM seeds? and even if he had no fucking clue about the process used, and obviously you dont (you list processes which MIGHT have been used), is it still not reasonable to expect females from his so called FEMINIZED SEEDS?

As for my advice on the situation, i'd just message seedsman, tell em what happened and if they don't hook you back up then simply dont buy their stuff anymore. simple as that, as frustrating as it may be.

That sucks. I have been growing Seedsman White Widow for over a year and a half but I got regular beans. The pheno that I got is without a doubt the best WW that I have ever smoked or grown. Seedsman gear has been a great choice for me but again, they were regular beans.

I am not a big fan of female simply do to the constant complaining from consumers who were not satisfied. I have grown a few female beans just for shits and giggles but would no way in hell make them a part of my regular grow. Serious Seeds for instance, will NEVER offer female beans because they feel it will only weaken the genetics of marijuana. IMHO, Serious Seeds has the best genetics available to the general public so I have no problem following their lead. However, I do understand the niche market for these beans. It really helps some with space issues.

I certainly don't think this has anything to do with Attitude. This is all on Seedsman. It will be interesting to see IF you get any tytpe of response to your problem.

And it is obvious you don't know jack shit about breeding feminized seeds either because they DO NOT use hermaphrodites to make fem seeds!!!

Jesus, why do people keep saying this when they have no clue what they are talking about?

And sorry but you also DO NOT have a 100% chance of having ALL female plants when you buy feminized. There are no breeders out there that guarantee all fem plants. They will guarantee 100% germination and 100% hermie free but NOT 100% female. It is damn near impossible to make seeds all female.

I will say that having 3 out of 5 males in a batch of feminized seeds is strange and I would be pissed too, but it is not completely out of the question. There are a lot of things that could have happened from the time that the seeds were produced to the time you germed them that could have gone wrong. Mishandling, mix ups at the seed bank, or even forcing the plants into flower can turn a female seed male.

The point is, you still have a chance of getting males even when you buy feminized.

I have had a batch of 10 seeds (non- feminized) turn out to be all male. I was pissed but I did not bash Attitude or the Breeder because it could have been either my fault for forcing them into flower or just plain old dumb bad luck!

There is an easy solution: Just don't buy from them again. Because that is about all you can do. The chances of you getting a refund is slim to none

I am not really surprised. Seedsamn has always had a great rep from where I come from and his WW is without a doubt the best I have ever grown and lord knows, I have tried them all. Thanks for the update and congrats. You are going to be rolling in high octane, mind blowing white widow buds in a few more months.

open and honest communication usually does the trick. Nice to hear a good ending. Now for the final ending you should let us know what happens with the new seeds. Maybe a journal is in order and hopefully a positive thread on Seedman customer service when your smokin a fatty from the batch....Good Luck
