Lighting. Anything better than CFL's but not too expensive?

Okay so I have my plants under some cfl's they are working alright, but i was just wondering if anyone knows any better ones that dont cost that much more? The electricity cost doesnt matter (my house comes with paid utilities). just looking for some maybe no more than $25 a bulb? Thanks guys

iv seen 75 watt hps bulbs at homedepot for like $15 or somthing. its not really the bulbs that are super expensive, its the hood and ballast and shit.

yeah i saw those at home depot, they dont even sell the ballast and hood at the home depot here in hawaii. shitty, hawaii never has the same stuff as the mainland

HIDs are the least expensive option. Fluoros do grow choice nugs, so don't think you're missing out if you go with those.

i got my 430watt hps ballast, hood and bulb for $10 at a yard sale.
