Only new to the hydro scene our tap water here is 0600 ppm. If my seedlings need to have a ppm of 100 - 250 What then should my ppm meter read? Might be a silly question but I want to get this right.
hope you don't drink that crap. Need some info from a real hydro guy. the soilds in the water are salts and other crap my ppm's run 850-900 at full nute mix but it's over 1000 when I add the molasses. also not hydro just soilless
yes using the black gold coco blend.hey stumps do you grow in coco?
and may i ask a ? on your ppms u run and i see alot on riu are quite low to what i run mine at i grow in coco and are at like double those ppms u r running with no adverse affects.
I'm not sure about the ppms. As I understand it. the salt build up takes a little time and will start to block nute uptake in the plants. I flush once in veg with low or 0 ppm water. flush is 3to1 and then again at the end of flower to get rid of all the nutes. Where do you run your ph at? I also added some lime to the coco blendhey stumps do you grow in coco?

thx stumps i run my ph at 5.5 - 6.0 and i use canadian xpress nutes for coco and some additives to help with enlargeing the nuggs i havnt flushed mine for ages or the last 2 cycles, only because the plants look so healthy with no side effects.but ealry on in my growing experience i had trouble getting a plant to 8 weeks and looking healthy it was on the way out at 8 weeks ,but after fine tuneing and good nutes they look like they could do 2-3 more weeks.I'm not sure about the ppms.
