New Grower a few questions

Ok so first off, I'm not currently growing yet. I am in the planning stages, and I plan to do this right.

Now to start off, I plan on following the video guide on youtube that mrgreen put up. Its a step by step guide for indoor growing that beings at the building of the space itself which is excellent.

Now I have three questions.

One, what is a good starter seed? I am not entierly sure yet, but are some strains more resillient (will survive even if I mess up a bit)? If thats not true, whats the best seed for maximum yield?

Two, I am not going to use the CO2 system that the mrgreen guide uses because he says you can substite it for bubbly water spraying (I'm on a fairly limited budget and not using his sytem will save me alot). If that is true, how often do I spray my plants, and how much?

Three, He uses "nutrients" in his hydroponics water supply, however he doesnt say what they are. Does anybody know what he could eb talking about? If these nutrients are unnecessary, can I just use regular distilled water?

Thanks for all the help in advance.

Also, I forgot to mention. That my budgest is limited but not as much as you might possibly think. I'm looking at a 800-1000 budget for everything.

for your first grow try bag seed. save your money for lights, fans and stuff. when you can grow buy a good seed.

you need nutes.

you don't need co2 or spray.

The sites that sell seeds normally give info on the specific strain and the difficulty, there are ones that are more forgiving to beginners.

Thanks fo the info bro. I was looking at a few different strains off of paradise seeds along with ak47 and white widow like the video. I'll looki into bag seed.

With nutrients, where do I get them, and how do I know what I need?

Also, will the bubbly water spray help at all if I do it?

i use foxfarm http://www.foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf

but one brand is as good as the next.

you can buy on line or at a hydro store.
Hydro store? Could you just get this stuff at like gardening centers? I couldnt think for the life of me where a hydro store is around me.

Also, again, how do I know what I need? lol

I'm on a strictish budget so if this stuff is incredibly expensive, dunno how this is gonna work (I'll make it work but still lol).

Regular garden centers dont usually have much that I can use, except maybe peat moss and compost, most will send you over to the Miracle Grow isle lolz. If you live near a good sized city you can find a hydro store. If I hadnt heard of the Hydro store I always used id have never knew it existed, than I found 2 more by looking online. I find more knowledgable people at hydro stores too, when I ask at garden centers if they have anything for micro nutrients, I get blank stares and, (huh?) Most dont even have a clue what perlite and vermiculite is, they ask me what its used for lolz. "Ummm I like to sprinkle it on my cereal, you have a wonderfull day now".
