hey bro it looks like you have those pots that have a clip on tray attached underneath to catch runoff,if so you mite want to try takin the trays off the pots and just putting the pots in a kitty litter tray or something so that you can see the runoff and tip it out if you need to,if the pot is left standing in the runoff water it gets soaked back up into the soil and saturates it,has the same effect as overwatering, nice little setup you got there bro very tidy, almost clinical

Nice plants man. Yours look a little more full than mine but you re one week ahead.
How tall are your plants. Mine are about 15 16 inches tall. I have never smoked JTR before supposed to be tasty.

keep me posted on your grow. we have similar set up going and I would like to see what your plants look like before you harvest.

thanks man
I kept them short, They got to about 3 feet but now the buds are so heavy they are about 2 1/2 feet tall.

They are using a 400 hps and a 600 hps in a 4x4 tent. Prob only need the 600, lol.

Ill take pics for you when I harvest but its looking like these are going 9 weeks by the looks of it not the 8 I was hoping for.

Ha Ha! yeah I like to keep it as clean as posable in there. thats funny. My mom saw the grow box and said " wow you are anal about something!" ha ha.

I will try to get the bottoms off those pots. I have a Styrofoam cooler I can cut low and put some kitty litter in there. space is limited. but I will figure it out. thats the name of this game it seems.
update / modify / update / modify / update / modify / update /
......and then harvest!

How much do you pay for these clones? Unfortunately I am not from an area where you would ever find someone to buy clones from. I always have to start from seed. But I plan to start my own clones soon.

Dude, he said use a kitty litter tray or something for the runnoff. You don't have to put kitty litter in there. That would just make a mess. lol

these clones are from a medical dispensary here in Santa Barbara. If I were to drive to LA these clones would cost me $10 bucks but in SB they are $15, not to bad. I am planning on cutting my own clones instead of buying them in the future.

I started from seed and only got one sprout out of 5. You can see it in the previous pics.

like I said. here are some pics of the new ladies. I am trying to figure out how much I will need to grow consistently just for personal use. The 2 JTR clones are not going to yield enough to last me till my next harvest. That is why I added one more plant to this grow cycle.

Once I get it all figured out I will never have to buy again!

Plants are looking not too bad right now but have you considered upping your lights? Looks like you have plenty of space and those babies will grow to their full potential with more light. Looks like you have space for about 8-10 lights. Check out my page and lighting set up, for an affordable cost (under 40 bucks) you can up the ante big time.

Hello again. Nice set up. Did you get your clones at Green Angel? I have the same tags so I guess my clones are from the same grower as yours.

I can make a couple of suggestions for the cfl's in your cabinet. First of all, as the plants grow you will be moving the lights around a lot. You will also be adding and taking away as you go. To make all this easier, you can try using power strips. With one or two power strips attached to the walls of your cabinet, you can connect the bulbs directly to the strip using a plug-socket adapter. If you set up the power strip vertically, you can raise the lights just by pulling the lights out of the socket and raising them up to a higher outlet on the strip. And the cfl's work much better flat, so more of the lumens are spread onto the plant. This set up has made my life so much easier as my plants grow.

Power strips at Wal-mart are $3.97 or two for $7. Plug-socket adapter $1.29/ea. Screws $1. You can also try various socket adapters and expanders/dividers also sold at Wal-mart ($2-$4/ea).

You can check up on my grow here...

No I didn't get them at green angel. they could possibly from the same grower though.
Thanks for the suggestion man. I have a decent system going right now. maybe you couldn't see from the pic but there are power strips in there with many plug-socket adapters just like the ones you are talking about. (they are not vertical alone the sides they are straight overhead)
I also love using those claps because of the motility I get out of them. I move them around all the time. they clap to anything. they are great. you should try them out.

one question for ya.
cfls work better flat? because it spreads out the lumens better? what do you mean by flat? You mean pointing straight down or to the side?
why would that matter. I have never heard of this?

I am getting excited now.
Any tips on how to know when the perfect time for harvest is?

JTR needs a 8-9 week flowering period.
Are there signs that I can look for to maximize my harvest.
Also I have heard put them through 24 hours of darkness before I harvest.
If some one could run through the method with me it would help a lot. other wise I will just keep searching around.
