I took some from my big kush. I've got a few photos of it in my journal here. I know it's not a great strain to grow outside in my climate, but me and my buddy were doing a cloning experiment so rather than toss out cuttings that've rooted I'd rather plant them.
I also have the 4 seedlings that are apparently good to grow in my part of the world. I'm not hoping for anything...basically just gonna stick them in the backyard and see what happens.
Thank god for canadian pot laws, I don't even need to worry if anyone sees them...hehe

Funny story for you guys...just happened this morning.
Ok so it's about 10am and I am sitting on the toilet. All of a sudden my apartment buzzer rings. We're not expecting any visitors or anything, but I'm on the toilet so my gf answers it. I call through the door to ask who it was. She says it's the police and I can tell by her voice she's not joking.
I slam on my crap brakes and immediately cancel the shit I was taking.
Now I'm excited. I jump off the toilet and look out the window and sure enough there's a ghost car parked outside. I start tripping out big time and stuff all my plants into kitchen cupboards, under the bed, closets, wherever I can.
I continue to move at the speed of an F1 pit crew member disassembling my entire tent, lights, fans everything all the while assuming the police are outside waiting for my landlord to show up with keys or whatever and I have only minutes to finish. The whole mess takes about half an hour...I'm sweaty big time and wearing boxer shorts only. As soon as I finish I look outside and see the car is gone.
I relax a little and start thinking clearly. Ten minutes later the landlord shows up so I go talk to him and ask what happened and why the police were there. It was for some crazy lady downstairs who had a mental breakdown.
I just finished rebuilding my tent....I got some cleaning done too I guess....I haven't had an adrenaline rush like that for a long time and now that it's over it's funny to look back on.
Here's a pic of my plants in the kitchen right after I took them out of the cupboards. The whole time I was tripping out I kept thinking thank god these are auto dwarfs.
So let this be a lesson that you gotta stay calm and think no matter what situation you're in.
I should have known by simply ignoring the buzzer, like we did, that the police don't just magically give up. It was obvious they weren't after me.
I'm a bit embarrassed but hope you guys enjoy a laugh.

HAHA thats hillarious! You must have been panicing, if only those cops knew their next promotion was just inside your apartment!
A similar thing happened to me. I was cutting the lawn one day and I never see cops in my neighborhood...a cop pulls INTO my driveway and my heart starts racing! When I walked up to the car the cop said someone reported gunshots - I live in hick-ville so it was probably some yahoo shootin' off his shotgun after drinking too much grey goose...
I thought I was toast...

Stories like these will be awesome in a couple years. Honestly though I'm in a way better mood today because of it.
One good thing I've got going for me is where I live there's an estimated 10000 commercial grow ops within city limits. If I did get busted the worst I would expect would be my equipment confiscated and I'd be evicted. I can't imagine how stressful your guys situation is in tough states.
For example, if I'm outside smoking a joint in front of a cop, he'll either ignore me, or he'll be like put that out and get outta here.
The pot rally on april 20th had over 10000 attendants this year all blazing and the cops don't even do anything.
I'm not trying to be cocky here at all, but what would happen to you if you smoked a joint in front of a cop?

Man in my town the cops would make a HUGE deal of it because the worst thing that happens here is someones dog is barking to loud and the cops are all over the owner lol. But the flip side is they don't search for growers like they would in a city, no helicopters no FLIR imaging etc...Only way to get caught is open your mouth really. My electricity bill only went up like $15-$20 so thats no red flag...Gotta love personal grows!

Nice plants... I have a auto-AK-47 into 21 days of flowering. Using T-5 flouros
for flowering so it will be great to compare against your light. It had alot of stress from
being eaten so might not be a perfect canidate for comparing.

Hey man. Everything looks great. One thing is that you might wanna lower the light and make sure they dont stretch. Its funny cause Im using the same exact tent. You should be able to fit almost 25-28 lowryders in that box. I have a lot of experienced with these tens and with lowryders so pm if u have any questions. Here is the link to my grow journal. I'm paranoid of burning my poor plants with the light even more than I already have, but what do you think about this:
With my AC running the tent is about 20-24 degrees C and the room the tent is in is about 26. My thermometer broke so I'm kinda going on the last readings I got from it but it's definitely cool enough to hang out in there and not get uncomfortable. I have a 150 cfm fan blowing into it plus a 240 cfm sucking air from it but for noise reasons I turn the second fan down to probably 200 so the total should be 300-350 cfm cooling the bulb. It's enough to cave in all the tent walls so there's some negative pressure.
Of course, I can't find my tape measure right now, but the light is about 20 inches off the canopy.
In this case how low should I put my light?
I'm paranoid of burning my poor plants with the light even more than I already have, but what do you think about this:

Ok so it's been a while since I posted some pics...now it's time for some more mediocre pictures of my mediocre plants!
The one next to the coke can has really dense tight buds, but (and it's a big but) look how tiny it is...
The other one is probably the only plant I'm actually going to get close to an ounce out of, but I'm not even holding my breath for that much.
Please note heat stress in group shot...
Basically it's a combination of me not growing for 5+ years and not having my AC hooked up in time.
Sigh...I messed up...I knew I shoulda planted these things in january....
I guess I still have about 3 weeks left, so I'll remain somewhat hopeful.

Hey man, don't be so bumed out you did real good! I just harvested one of my plants I really screwed up and yours look amazing next to it...I figured I wouldnt get much out of it and the smoke would be bad...not so! I got more then I expected PLUS it smokes good and is a good high...
I think growing is pretty easy. This site makes it look so much harder then it really is. All this crap about harvest when the hairs are 50% white/orange and when the trichs are amber/cloudy is great and all but thats if you're trying to acheive perfection and you've been doing it for years and years and you're just fine tuning your harvests for max yield/thc content...
It really overwhelms new comers and old timers who're out of practice (hint hint - jk) with all these rules and worries that you really dont need worry about unless you're ready to get serious.

Ok guys, I'd appreciate some advice. Situation is as follows:
Even tho we've had fire inspection in january, my landlord wants to do it again tomorrow for some reason only he knows..... No big deal or anything, but I've decided since I'll be at work when it happens I'll simply stash my girls at a friend's house in the backyard until the coast is clear tomorrow evening.
Then I got to thinking that it's risky enough to sneak out 11 plants stinking in full bud over several trips, hide them in my car and then drive off let alone bringing them back inside afterwards.
So I was thiking this:
It's now sunny basically everyday and consistently 22-28 degrees outside. As we get closer to summer the weather is only improving and getting hotter. If I was able to move my plants outdoors and finish them off there how do you guys think they'd do? There's just 3 weeks left and I think it'd be really lame if I got spotted by a neighbour while carrying 3 plants in a box. Plus my gf would be super excited to have my tent put away early. I know I'd probably lose a bit of the hard tight buds that I purposely chose a 1k light to create, but it kinda seems like a hassle you know?

Can you call out of work sick? Do you think she suspects anything, is there any reason for her to suspect anything? If the answer is no I'd just find a way to lock them up in a closet or something.
Seems hella risky to be traveling in a car with plants.
Personally I'd call out of work sick and try my best to be home during the inspection. I'm gonna guess though that she isn't suspiscious cause would she have warned you about the fire inspection if she was? Do landlords *have* to send notice before an inspection? Not sure the laws on that one...anyway I'd try to stay home and protect them. you can show the inspector in and follow him around, just make sure hte tent isnt in a room where a fire alarm thing is...
but if you can't stay home, man I don't know thats a dilema!

It's an inspection for the whole building so it's for sure legit. I got some boxes that I'm gonna stick them in on my deck. All they do for the inspection is come in and press the test button on the alarm in my place.
Just the other day I drove for ten minutes with plants in my car includingy four foot kush. Little bit nerve racking I guess... Hehe...god I used to be braver when I was young....I have some seriously sketchy stories from back in the day if anyones interested...
My deck will be locked and I'll stash my tent so it's all good.
Dammit... I changed my mind I'll take them to my buddys place and hide the tent. That'll work

So I just talked to the land lord and all the test is is they pull one of the hallway fire alarm pulls on a random floor. Takes 5 minutes and no one has to come in my place.
I'm relieved...but now I'm making a point of not bothering my landlord since I've asked him random questions like 4 times in the last 3 weeks
