Your plant is a patient, AND a teacher. You must be a Dr. AND a student. You can do it. Good luck.

You know I just purchased a ph tester myself. And wa surprised it had to be calibrated.

You need to get a Ph buffer solution to calibrate. The cheapest one I found was here http://www.aquacave.com/ph-701-buffer-solution-220-ml-621.html

Hope it helps, and glad to hear that your plants are doing well

a few other thing i would like to add i put a milk jug in the closet at the beginning of the wk i put baking soda and vingar in it i read that it would put co2 in the air also i am thinking of adding epsom salt i went to that site u wanted me to go to( growing like a weed ) and it said that it would help have u used any? thanks

Not sure if vinegar and baking soda produce CO2, but I know that sugar water and yeast do.

There is a thread here about DIY CO2 https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/1362-home-made-co2-tutorial.html

I wouldn't add epson salt either, I don't think it is necessary, and really have no experience with it.

vinegar and baking soda will NOT make co2. sugar and yeast will. you can put a small amount a sugar and dry yeast on a two liter bottle shake it up. The first time you shake it, not much happens, but after a bit the yeast starts to feed on the sugar and the by-product is co2. Just shake it up a few times a day and each time a bit of c02 will be released. It wont do too much for you at all unless you do it in a small confined space. if you just do it in a room.....ehh....sugar and yeast are not free lol , but in a grow box, tent, somthing enclosed like that the co2 helps alot.
Vinegar is an acid source PH- baking soda is alkaline PH+ But baking soda (sodium bicarbonate) aslo contains SALT so you dont really wanna go there.
Epsom salt is a magnesium source, as well as a source of calcium. MJ does require a good amount of magnesium which is why it is commonly used by growers. But if it aint broke dont fix it. ONly use it if you NEED to, if you have a mag def.
Boiling your water is a waste of time and energy. Unless you are condensing and collecting the steam. then you'd have distilled water. Just let it sit out for 3 days to evap the chlorine or put an airstone in it. if you can cleanly collect rainwater and use that its ideal.

cool thanks i will try the co2 thing and i think i will wait on the epsom salt i guess i want to do more. i think i would be better off just leaving my plants alone and let them do their thing. i really thankful on all the imput it's helping alot and i don't know where i got the vingar bakingsoda thing i am a pothead and sometimes i get confused i know i used to put that stuff together in a volcano at school for a science pro. maybe i was having a flashback lol

LOL yeah man...you're learning. Its all good.
QUOTE- "i think i would be better off just leaving my plants alone and let them do their thing." This as a lesson everyone has to learn. And the sooner the better! Your on the right track, keep that train chuggin.
For future reference (and future refer! LOL) a good way to be ABLE to just let the plant do its thing, is to give it a real nice BIG pot in which to do it! :)

here is a few of rudy i cant really see much a difference than last week let me know what u think?

Hey Dude.I'm from Vancouver.Pot capital of North America.Your sativas look lame for 18 days flower in your pic but look.Get a pen and write this shit down.First get amazing seed, good seed ,good weed period.Try Next generation seeds Dynamite at 14 days flower i'm tying the buds up already and frost is everywhere, second grow Indica, much better yield and the buds are total dense. For soil go Sunshine #4 or Pro mix HD .You do not have to add nothing just take the soil fill your 3 - 5 gallon grow bags up and away you go.Lights use Lumatek digital ballasts, i think they are the best totally silent and bulbs any good 400 & 600 hps bulbs will do .You seem to have intake down. When flowering use a combination of atleast the 400& 600 hps so you can get 2lbs or close. Not worth waiting 90 days just too crop out 8 oz or less.My dynamite again are frosty and well on there way because i keep it simple.Invest in good equipment and you will grow good bud.Kind seeds up here in Vancouver have excellent strains.BC Kush , purple or bubble Kush is what you want.Bag seed is usually a waste unless you totally luck out. What soil are you using ??? looks like dirt with hay .Sunshine #4 is great when you don't want too mix and just want airy ,clean soil.plants love it.Peace

here is a few of jim should i be worried about the stems on rudy? they are a little pink

Ok they don't look that bad.

Leaves curling downward is a sign of a ph problem. Your ph might be off which is causing nute lock out, which hurts the plants ability to absorb nutrients.

If you do not have a PH tester get one. Don't forget a PH buffer solution to calibrate the meter.

Now PH should be 6.3 to 6.8 water. Try flushing with this PH and stop giving the plants sugar water.

You are better off giving the plant molasses.

But for now just keep flushing with the right PH. Your plants will be ok.

i have a ph tester but no solution to calbrate it it's still shipping. i'll stop the sugar water and go to the store and get more distiled h2o rudy has the same prob. on some of the leafs not all i had some1 tell me to kill the plant it too far gone but i will never do that it will have to kill it's self ill do another flushing 2night

Just a little update... I got the solution so I can calbrate my ph meter. I checked my water and it was 5.9 the distilled I am using from walmart is 6.3. Is that a real big difference? I also ordered some final flush. The plants look better than last wk at this time so I am sure the flush helped Jim. There still some curlin but not as much. I'll post some pics later on 2-day sometime after 6 pm.

5.9 , 6.3....close enough no worries there.
And way to stick with it man. You next grow will be all that much better, with all that you will have learned this time around. After you do a flush, put a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in with the last gallon of water. This will provide some oxygen to the roots that you have just soaked by flushing.:joint::peace:

here is jim looks alot better than a week ago
