This fem Lowryder 2 broke the soil just over a month ago and has been on a balcony all that time, as you can see it’s very stretched. If I leave her there will she come right??? Please tell me she’s not past saving!!

These Afghan 1s (pic with white digital thermomemter) and the lowryder, have been by window /under 250 watt hps for four weeks, had no fan so didn’t want to leave light on while I was out, so up until 2 days ago had been getting 12 hours poor sun by window and 6 hours under hps. Since 2 days ago their under 250hps 18 hours a day.

As you can see also very stretched – stem really thin , though new leaves are coming fast since the recent 18 hours hps regime. I’m about to fill soil in the pots higher up the stems and have fan blowing across plants now.
Is this enough?? Will stems thicken?? Is there anything else that I can do??

I would get some florescent lights and leave them on 24/7 until you are ready to flower. I think they'll be ok. Are they getting any air circulation?

Nice one can.i.buz, Yeah there's a fan on them now and drobe door is always open , so I think circulation is ok.

Don't have any fluorescents but I think I'll def go to 24/7, as they've def been missing out on light

Remember - plants will grow toward the light. 250watts is a lot for such small seedlings. I generally leave my clones under a double bulb 48 inch tech light until they are rooted - about 6-7 inches tall. Then I move them to a 4 bulb tech light until they are about 12-14 inches. I keep the light only as far above the plants as necessary to avoid heat stress - plants grow toward the light- this tells the plants that they do not have to stretch for the light and they grow thicker and sturdier. hope this helps
