Need to prepare my ladies to be moved outside due to family coming in town.

Hi all,

I will have to move all my babies outside in a few days when family comes in town. I have a spot nearby in some woods that i figured would suffice for the 10 days. They are all in the early stage of vegging so they are not very big.

Does anyone have any advice on what i need to do to prepare my babies for the outside world and maybe what i should do to the spot that i put them in, to protect against bugs, animals, and other things that could harm my babies.

Any advice would be much appreciated. I would hate for something to happen to them those 10 short days they will be outside.

or you could get some helium and fill up 100 balloons and suspend the pots in the air, best i got sorry stoned...

in fact i think i will have to do that get some PVC bags like i use for fishing that melt when they get wet... fill some bags up with 20 seeds or something and unleash them upon the wind, soon as it rains the seeds will end up falling to the ground, soon!!! weed will be growing everywhere from the gardens of peoples homes to the parks!! and fields i have seen the light!! operation GERMINATION IS underway

The general grower... who became a germinator.... the germinator that defied the law...
Father to a murdered seedling....
Husband to stoned wife...
I will have my vengeance in this life or the next...

god im stoned..., good luck with it anyhow mate, try not to stress them too much

Didn't know what i should do to the plants or the area I put them in, to protect them from bugs and animals. Not so much worried about humans.

Please any help would be appreciated

spray the plants with organinc pesticide. Neem oil works good. its kinda a shock to put your plants outside right away unless it is only for a couple of hours

Thanks a lot for the advice. They have seen the outside sun for a few days every now and then when its nice i move them outside to get some premium sunlight. Neem oil sounds great though. Where could i find that?

they might have it at the hydro shop, but i know for sure i've seen it at home depot. I havn't actually used it but am planning on going to buy some this week but i have heard alot of good things about it. I've been trying the garlic and cayenne mix and it does work against some something is still getting to my plants but by the time i get to them whatever it was is gone already. I'm thinkin its potatoe bugs

Best I can think of is put them in bushes somewhere completely remote. Best bushes that have spikes on them, don't know the names of the plants.

Use rubber gloves and some blankets to spread the bushes open, put the plants in the center and mask the bushes back.

They won't get as much direct sun, but from what I know direct sun isn't needed at the early stage. Should do well.

Another thing is to get rope and suspend them on trees. Cut bottles in half so that the part with the hole is your "shell" for the plants. Throw a rope over a branch high in the air, suspend and tie the rope so that nobody sees it. But you'd have to water... that's a problem.

That sounds like an awesome idea. Could you go into maybe a little more depth in detail. I dont really get what you mean by shell or what type of bottles to you and whether or not the plants are open or if the shell seals them off. Thanks for the idea.
