So your room is two rooms now? One veg and one flower.
If the room is 8x10x12 total. You want a complete air exchange every 5 minutes.
8x10x12= 960cubic feet divide by 5 minutes = 192CFM exhaust minimum. thats just to provide fresh air. Temperature considerations will no doubt require additional CFM's. Also factor in that any ducting will reduce your CFM's.
So your 2 X160 CFM will provide plenty of FRESH air, but will it be cool enough? Probably not. If you can duct them directly from the hoods that would be ideal.
And yes you need a constant 24/7 intake and/or exhaust. I recommend constant exhaust rather than constant intake, but either is good. And then you want the rest of your fans going on /off with the lights. A 4in intake from your cetral A/C system. Is this the ONLY intake? You should have some passive intake too.
I'm not sure exactly what lights you will use. Sounds like flouro's for veg, and a MH AND an HPS for flower? And are you going to use any filters?

Ya, but it will be later on down the line. little short on cash. pictures i have seen have the filter on the inside. Passive intake? my room is in a bigger room with no ac. this room had ac. i had a new furnace put in and they took it out, I had it taped off because no one ever went in there. so they didnt hook it up. they didnt leave me the pipe, and they still havent been back to finish the job I keep called but the owner is never around so i cant get nothing done. if i wait for them i will have no ware to put my ladys in veg know(to big). need more room runnen out of time. Do you think i should cool the big room and pull air to the little room. thats the only way i will get somwhat cool air. That room was figured in when i bout the Heat/air con unit. I dont know what size pipe was there, all there is is a hole with a sheet of metal over it. that room was the coldest room in the hole house.

yeah cool the big room and pull air into the little room.
Passive intake....Somewhere there is an exhaust fan sucking warm stale air out, and somewhere else there's a place where fresh air can get in. If its blown in by a fan thats "active" intake. If air just "flows" in to replace the air being sucked out by the exhaust fan then thats "passive" intake. (no fan)
I have a fan "active" intake when the lights are on. But when the lights are out i just run an exhasut fan and the intake is "passive", or air coming in through flaps in the bottom of my tent without a fan. (air comes in but not light)
So thats what I'm recommending for you. Exhaust going 24/7 with some passive air intake (the air from your A/C pipe?). AND active exhaust and intake going on/off with your lights.

the flouro tubes.....can work well if you get the proper spectrum (4100K- 6500K range 6500k being ideal) But their effective distance is only like 5 inches. Any farther than that and its like they're not even there. So if you want to use flouro tubes they should be positioned RIGHT ON the plants literally touching them. I used t-12's on my 1st grow.

I want some regular light when i am working in there. thats good to know i was hopen they would help out in my veg room.

yeah i figured the fixtures on the ceiling were more for you than for the plants, but you did mention something about vegging with flouro's, and I've been there and done that so....Carry on my man! :)

my veg room is almost 4 feet wide, i was thinking on putting the 8s on the wall.

no males, my first batch was 90 percent males(soil). My bro gave me some clones. thats what i am runen with know. No males

Oh hell if you have TWO of those blowers already (I didn't realize).....Now I'm liking it a little better. Those should move some air. Do you know the CFM rating on those blowers? I'm thinking 1 of those exhausting from each room? And how long is your exhaust ducting?

my exhaust will be blowing in a pressure washer box with a vent on it above my room in the attic. the 4 inch duct fan that will be going to the top of my light will be almost strait up &down, i will leave this one on all the time.
what did u think on a blower in and a blower out in the budding room? the blower in will be hooked up to my 4 inch duct going to my ac, on with lights. and the exhaust will be up in the opposite corner, on with lights. I will have fans in the room to.

"the 4 inch duct fan that will be going to the top of my light will be almost strait up &down, i will leave this one on all the time." This is where you want high CFM's extracting hot air. This is where I would put my most powerful fan.

cool i will do that. know the blower hooked up to the ac? good bad?

Well I think you won't be able to tell for sure untill everything is in place and you see what your temps are with the lights on, and how much A/C you'll actually need. Then you can decide about how much cooling the big room might need too.
There's no such thing as too much fresh cool air. But not enough....well I think you know what thats about LOL. bongsmilie
