Question about Rockwool and Roots

I got a few that I was using as mothers but decided to flower about a week and a half ago. They are in 17 qt. pots but they are half or less full of Rockwool Growcubes (I can pull the whole plant out and look at a giant root ball integrated into the cubes, it looks completely covered). My question is since I'm already a week and a half into flowering, would it make a big difference if I pH treated some more Growcubes and put underneath the plants? They seem to be flowering fine but I want to know if I'm starving them of root area by only keeping half the pot full of Growcubes (they were meant for mothers so I didn't figure they needed 4 gallons of Growcubes but I decided bud is better since I had 3 mothers. The plants are about 75 days vegged and 10 flowered). Any input is greatly appreciated (along with multiple people's input). Thanks!

thats a very confusing question.

i dont even know how to try to answer..
Uh, just wondering if putting another gallon of growcubes underneath a couple plants that are 80 days old (70 vegged) would help in their last 40 days or if it'd be a waste of grow cubes.
