Is this little light setup I have safe?

Just curious. I only had the bottom 4 lights going at first but grabbed some more connectors while at Lowes, and a couple more bulbs.

yea its safe but i would use the 2 you have on top in different places because they wont affect it too much

does it have a rating in watts. make sure the total wattage of your lights doesn't exceed this and you should be ok.

I am an electrician and that is almost fine, since those lights take "no" power then i would say you can run about 10 or more of those bulbs like that........as long as you trust the screw in part's are all sucure then you are fine, dont worry bout nothin !

It seems pretty secure except for where the connections holding the individual lights are. Seem like the plug-in wants to fall out. I will find some way to keep it in place.

wow im a dumb ass , ive been buying a lamp everytime i wanna add an extra cfl to my set , can u chuck one of those in a lamp socket to start a chain of them?

i think its fine too, im running a ton of cfls in my rig, 6 sockets and lots of Ysplitters, almost 500 watts of cfls in total.

Im sure you could, be sure to check the Max wattage of the lamp first tho.

Each connector piece you see cost about $2 each at Lowes, which isnt a bad deal at all. For 8$ I could run 6 lights.

just use a heaver gauge cord just to be safe... better to be safe then sorry, you want to smoke you plants not a fire...

What wattage are your lights you are running? I like that set up.

Some of those are 23w, most are 26w.

Its not bad if you put the stronger lights on top, as someone mentioned, the lights on top are a bit far away. I bought some more connectors yesterday, you can make all kinds of crazy light designs with them things!
