DIY Aero CFL 12/12 from seed

Nice, sounds like some good seeds for experimentation. My node spacing is very tight too, and I'm thinking it has something to do with full nutes from the beggining. Kinda like they're on steroids or something.

On a different note... you said you were in school, right? Ignore me if I'm being intrusive, but I was just curious to see if you are pursuing botany or horticulture as a major.

Haha yea I thought about it for a few days, transferring to some school in maine... (check NORML laws, lol)

I'm in the business school, so my rents would probably cut the line if I decided to major in horticulture/botany haha...

so this sprayer inside the green tub is a , fountain ? spays 360 circle of water and you just have it on a timer that is on 15 mins then off 30 mins?

do you use a air pump with stones in your bottom tub?

and the roots just hang in the air ( hints aeroponics im guessing) and get sprayed with bottm tub's water?

Yea, I stopped using cycle its on 24/7 now, check the DIY link in my sig for more info my setup.

30 minutes was way too long and they were getting too dry in that period.

And no, you don't need airstones that is the beauty of this. You use one pump and very few pieces.

Alright so I pulled the plug on this grow

I didn't really feel like it was worth keeping my system running for a plant that will only yield 3-4 grams tops. Not worth my nutrients...



I will start back up in august.

Figured why "waste" my time on something I can't do, when I spend way too much time on RIU as it is?! But that's what one gets for going by appearances alone, eh?

Well, my name is Kat. But I just now noticed that I'd added a "c" to your name. OOPS!

I bookmarked and subbed to that thread, I'll read it as soon as I can. Especially if the good shit's at the beginning. I won't be building anytime soon, just really liked Lurk's aero setup. Looks so simple to keep maintained, and not too difficult to build. But reading is what I've been doing lately, and I've learned so much! I'll get to that thread soon.

And tell me about it! I'm constantly on RIU, reading something or another. If not tutorials, then journals. It's neverending! Pot isn't addicting.... it's reading/talking about it that is! LOL

funny you should say that... i was just thinking the other day if not for RIU and the amount of time i spend on here, i would have ditched my grows WEEKS ago. its so much easier to get in the car, drive to the dudes house drop 80 bucks and get some dank. with RIU i trick myself into thinking its my grow progressing every other hour, when in fact its all my subscriptions that are almost ready to harvest, dry, cure... etc.
