Florida rains

Well all u floridains kno it rained like a bitch last night well where i grow it gets pretty flooded but one of my plants has took on a lot of water i scooped some of the water out but i wana hear what i should do before this flowering girl gets fuked

maybe build a pile of dirt around it so the water cant collect around it like that.

Hmmm, I would say ride this one out and hope for the best. If it stopped raining and the plants are still alive, then I don't see how this would be different than over-watering plants in a pot. I doubt your roots are reaching the water table, so the roots should be dried out in a couple of days.

You can try preparing for the next rain...Create a flower bed around your plants so water doesn't run into the area. Create a simple V-shaped tent over your plants during rain. That should prevent this from happening again.

be prpared to lose a plant due to hurricane season in florida it being right in the time of outdoor flowering stages..............try to biuld up the dirt so the water doesnt saturate in the area of the plant

wouldent a v shaped tent collect water? i think you want a ^ shaped tent.
