Strain: "The Church" by Green House Seeds

Growth: Soil: Mixture of Scott's Moisture Control 50%, Own Compost 30%, and Perlite 20%.

Light: 400 Watt MH/ HPS w/ Sunmaster Bulbs

Nutes: Technaflora B.C. Nutrients

Yield: Good but I don't have a scale to give an exact weight. (See Pictures and take a guess :))

Bag Appeal: 7/10
- It's nice and green with plenty of red hairs but there is nothing dramatically special about it.

Smell: 8/10
- When it is growing it smells like rose hips and lavender :) When it is dry it smells a lot more earthy. When you crack off a nug you can still smell a lot of floral.

Taste: 8/10
- The Church smokes really smooth and burns slowly because it has a lot of resin. The taste is also earthy but actually reminds me a lot of Northern Lights.

The High: 9/10
-The High is great because it is unusual. I thought it might be weak at first because it is a creeper! It kicks in hard after about 5 minutes and at first it knocks you down like a heavy Indica but eventually smoothes out and gives you a nice active body buzz. I was looking for something to go fishing with and The Church is a Perfect for fishing/ hiking/ camping :eyesmoke:

Comments:

-All in all it was a good Indoor plant, easy to grow, healthy, good genes, etc.
Great plant to grow for beginners or anyone really. Not the most unique plant in the world but smokes really well and smells great.

I am also growing some outdoors so stay tuned for that!

That was a great way to recap you church grow.
Those nugs look super nice.
That looks like a great yeild. Big buds for a 400 watt light.
I like those narural colors.

Yeah, I wanted to show the life of the whole plant and be as thorough as I could.

Hopefully it will beneficial to others considering growing the Church, too many 1/2 assed review's out there :) Also growing the Church outside so I will be updating through fall.

The Church is a good strain and GHS has decent prices for their seeds, I don't care that people talk shit about them. They are LEGIT in my mind!

you may have made my mind up on buying this strain.... i grew out their other cheap strain (AMS) last year and was rather impressed for the price... smoke wasnt that great, but the flavor was unique.

I will tell you right now that this strain is a bit of a mystery to me.

It smells incredible when it is growing, looks nice, etc.

Then when you dry it, the smell goes away, it becomes really earthy, and is not really anything special to look at.

But, the high is GREAT! It is really, really smooth. At first you question the strength but then all of a sudden it kicks in and it makes your head feal numb.

Then 15 minutes later it smooths out to a nice clear mind/ body buzz :)

It really is interesting.

Yeah, the price is damn good and this plant grew perfectly.

If all GHS seeds grow like my Church has then I am a fan of those guys.

i've got some of their 'violator kush' fems waiting for next grow-round... we'll see how they turn out

I agree, I just got done growin the church and Big Bang from Greenhouse Seed Company. The Church had a great smell during the grow, but changed to a musky, skunky smell after the dry and cure! But I will tell you the smoke is nice! Makes me cough so hard, and the buzz is better than the big bang. Much props, keep up the good work!

i used to have the church but unfortunatly i lost all my clones during a heat wave.
i did manage to cross the church with white widow and she is in her 5th week of flowering
she is looking very nice

but yea i can back up the church, it was one of my favorite strains
