I've just put a bunch of the starter cubes in to soak in preperation for the cloning. I am soaking them in nothing other than ph 5.8 water.

I'd hate that. I know that the seedbanks are respectable and everything, but if it was me and I didn't get original packaging, I'd always have a little doubt in my mind saying that I haven't got what I paid for.

It's just because we wouldn't accept anything less than original packaging here in the uk. In the states however people seem happy to get their seeds shoved into the ridges of a piece of cardboard or just hidden away in a ziplock bag.

I would have to agree though, it is pretty darn satisfying to get your new seeds you just purchased and admire the packaging and knowing 100% that you got what you paid for. I mean you could order greenhouse seeds white widow from an internet retailer and then get 10 seeds in a little bag you haven't got a clue what they are, they could have been nirvana widow just to make a bit of extra profit or they could have mixed the orders up. Knowing you got what you wanted because its factory sealed in the breeders packaging is a very important thing to me.
