My pittiful first (hermie) harvest

This is the result of a beautiful plant that went hermie on me , around 15 days ago, Since i only had two plants i cut the hell out of this immaturely buded shemale and set her to dry... im still gonna smoke her/him since this is my first official harvest and its kinda sentimental thing for me LOL ( but hey i might even get some kinda high from it)... im currently curing and the smell emanating is that of freshly mown lawn (yuck..) yet when i squeeze the lil buds or rub the stalk i get a very nice sticky smell from my fingers/// the test remains to be done..

you should hang it up to dry and then put it in a jar to cure. better luck next time man.

haha, yes forgot to say that.. I did hang it up to dry, for about 5 days, but mightve been to little.. Thanks for the moral support tho

Just a Fun update: finally tried it and.... im quite surprised!

I took one of the better dried miny-buds (couldnt resist temptation...) slammed it into my bong and took a few hits and i am proud to say im feeling high! Ok its not your ''Afghan'' or WW trip not even close. But it's better than some shwagg ive tried! i was astonished when I saw my eyes in the mirror and noticed my red-eyed look ...and i am an every day stoner... not bad... not bad at all...

Here is the full (for fun) analysis for those stoners who feel stoned enough to endulge into some silly reading :
smell/look: Rank, looks like shite..smells grassy

Taste: dry hit was 'leafy'' this may be for the lack of proper curing...however taste when smoked was good soft and incenselike (like sandalwoo) and almost no lung expansion...

Effects: A slow and light/mild creeper. A very head/ light and clear feeling high...quite enjoyable, no munchies yet , altho dry mouth

Overall rating: since i was so pleasently surprise (I even got an effect) i'd give it a 10/10 also being a hermie and underdevelopped (had at least 7 weeks to go) im very proud of how far she got in such a short flowering period (okay I may be a bit too fatherly and exxagerated, but what the heck!) no seriously its on the mid high levels of lowgrade, u do the math
(if theres any ti be done), okay I'm having a second joint with my bro right now so ill stop pestering.. you probably have better things to attend to! btw this new joint is yellow mango strain (mmmstoned)...

thats what i was thinking..why so many leafs..an fuck that other guy nobody grows perfect plants there first grow...you shoulda left it growing an just tried to cut the balls off when you seen em..i know you wouldn't have gotten all an it would be lightly seeded but you would still wind up with some good seeded buds...peace

cut the balls off and theyll grow twice as much back. and absolutley no buds will grow from a male. only pollen sacks.

this is my first grow too i just have 12 cfls and 2 plants i got like a half ounce but i cant tell when its ripe i dont see to many buds moslty red and while hairs but more white and its been growing for a while

well the best way is go by the trichomes, just get a cheapy pocket 10x or higher microscope from radio shack . a general rule of thumb is wait to when about 75 to 85 percent of Pistils(hairs) turn red,brown or orange depending on the strain ,the colors vary.to tell from trichomes when they are ready is to wait for all the heads of the trichomes to turn cloudy.this will give u a more upper , cerebral high,if u wait until they start turning amber it will give u more of a stoney couchlock body. high a good ratio is 50/50 amber and cloudy. this gives u a bit of both highs.peace

as you can see i have not been active on rollitup for a few months, I thank all the ppl who found enough interest in this thread to reply . on the other hand I advise to check out my other threads where I posted some real grows, especially a bonsai style nirvana haze plant with a smashing pheno , from which I took cuttings and am now groing a few beautiful 4 feet (an growing) plants.
