i had another crazy idea for an outdoor LST grow.. which involved a 4x4x4 planter box... the LST would be a spiral from the middle of the pot outwards... it would be crazy to see an LST of the size... hell if the planter was moveable it could be started indoors and moved outdoors.. the planter box would have to be on wheels or something tho.. anyways... im guessin ill end up with about 8 strains this grow... hopefully one will be that "special" strain im looking for the combines yield and potency.. i am banking that on being the super lemon haze... they claim 700gr/m2 indoor and 1100grs outdoors... plus a potentcy of 22%... we'll see tho.. still hoping its the tundra tho.. ive waited so patiently to be able to get ahold of the tundra for years... i hope it doesnt let me down.. the gigabud should be a fat producers too... really all of them should be.. at least the ones i picked out.. the freebies are ?able right now...

so i was just checking on attitude seeds about the freebies i got.. the bluehash sounds amazing (blueberry x california hash)... as does the powerkush (afghani x skunk 1)... the roadrunner is an auto strain.. i want to grow an auto to see how it turns out.. but at the same time i dont.. mainly because right now im not setup to handle it.. if it starts flowering before im ready for it to it'll be fucked... wont get the kind of nutes it needs... since all the grow sites are on 1 reservoir that will still have veg nutes in it at that time... and as far as white widow goes, im kind of burnt out on it... not so much the smoke.. it really only comes around once in a while here.. at least true and pure ww... i think its just more the name... ive heard ww for so long im tired of smoking it, and i dont even get to that often!! im sure i know someone who would appriciate both the ww and roadrunner...

so i think i am going to end up germing 1 of every strain i purchased except for the ww and rr of course... that would mean i would end up having super lemon haze, matanuska tundra, strawberry cough, gigabud, bluehash, powerkush, og kush, chemdog, blueberry, and white shark... now that is a buffet of DAMN fine buds... my mouth is watering just thinking of it.... shit part is i wont have a lot of any one kind really... even worst part is deciding what ones i want to keep around and what ones i want to get rid of... actually i can keep them all going... i forgot about something.. once i get my flower room set up, which will be after this grow for sure, i plan on only having 12 large plants.. but i will have a TON of unused floor space for a mini sog style grow under them... and that will give me the ability to have more strains going... the ebb and gro systems can take up to 48 sites... so if i could fit all 48 of them in the flower room, i could have 12 large girls and 36 smaller ones... the smallers ones would be the "extra" strains, for myself, and would all be direct to 12/12 clones... HELL YA!! im as excited as a virgin at a filming of an all girl porno..

just thinking of the, what is that end up, 10 strains, i would have going in the one room is enough to make me hard... thinking about a fully blown flower room setup with all those beautiful strains, and more if i decide, takes care of my dick being hard cause it just blows my load automatically... biggest part of getting that setup tho will be finding a happy medium where all the strains are getting the nutes they need without being burnt or deprived...

i just wanted to say im really impressed with attitude seeds thus far... my seeds havent gotten here yet of course.. but they have been on top of the order from the start.. i placed the order around 11 or 11:30 PM thursday night... it was packed and shipped out within 12 hours of them recieving the order... i dont know how international mailing goes..whether it runs 7 days a week or just mon thru fri like in the states... but i am guessin it will be wednesday/thursday when they get here... so we'll see how they look when they get here... that will tell the whole story.. but from an initial taking the order and getting it out i was impressed by the speed which it happened.... getting anxious for sure.. ready to germ these seeds and really start this grow out... wish it was going as well as my last... will soon be tho!

im excited too.. they all seem amazing.. the hashberry sounds amazing.. the tundra is an alaskan strain ya.. i remember the first time i ever saw/read about it in high times.. i vividly remember the picture they had and the article... i was 18.. and i thought to myself then that i would some day grow it myself... and now i can... the biggest reason i didnt purchase seeds for it before now is that until not to long ago the strain was always mixed seeds.. they just now got it fem'd... its great knowing that i wont have to watch out for males at all.. except for the white shark.. but i think she'll be a girl... im worried about it and the blueberries, or anything else that survives, will turn hermie from the stress they have gone through so far... im just hoping its early enough in their life cycle it doesnt affect them...

im banking on a week... i really hope they dont take 2 tho... that would put me 3 weeks out about before the seeds would be ready to be planted in the hydro system... plus 4 or 5 week veg... start flowering beginning of september.. end of novemeber/begging of december before i harvest... if i can get them in the system around the 15th of this month, i can start flowering middle of august and harvest middle to end of october... its crazy that 1 week difference of when they get to me will make 2 to 3 week difference in when i can harvest...

i got the idea from your grow.. looking at your LST.. it would be crazy to see that nice of an LST job done in a HUGE pot.. or hell.. even on the ground.. plant the bitch in the ground and LST the shit out of her.. then there is no size/room contraints... hey MG, you should try that next year to 1 or 2 girls outside... just a thought.. would be cool shit to see..

i had a dream last night about my order coming in... it was very vivid.. actually can remember the pics of the buds on the front of the breeder packs and everything.. in color non the less... its not often that i have a dream that real... it took me a minute after i woke up to remember it was just a dream right now... but damn... now i am beyond stoked to get the order....

today is res change day... its always fun.. goes pretty quick now... about 2 hours from start to finish.. which isnt bad.. at least i dont think it is... it took about that long or so to water by hand... maybe not quite that long.. but i only have to change the res once a week verse watering every 3 days...

normally i wouldnt worry to much about a follow up to something like a reservoir change... but i was stoked after this one and thought i would share...

since the beginning of the switch to the hydro system i have been plagued with stupid issues... heat, PH, res temps.. it took almost 2 weeks of work but i finally got it all taken care of.. and it finally payed off.. finally i got some good news about everything..

first off i managed to get it done in under 2 hours... so it was less time than it took last change.. plus i was able to get all the pumps and the aerator cleaned out along with a full cleaning of the reservoir itself... due to the layout its near impossible for me to move it somewhere to clean out.. but i figured out a way to get it done without moving it today.. so that alone was set my mood off right..

secondly was the temp.. once i got all the nutes in, which i do while it is filling so they can mix, i plugged in all the pumps and the chiller again.. i cant run the chiller without water running through it or it will burn out.. the chiller pump helps to keep the nute solution mixed as well as the aerator so both are nice to have in the reservoir.. but im getting off topic... so the chiller has a thermostat on it that displays the current temp and set temp... well after i filled it up and plugged it in the current temp, which was the water temp of what i used to fill it, happened to be the set temp.. not really anything special.. just was cool it happened to be the exact degree as the temp i set the chiller to.. makes it nice that it wont have to lower the entire reservoirs temp, which means it wont have to run for a while..

third was the ph... quick note.. i am in the habit of calibrating my ph meter every res change.. since it stays in there i worry about the salts messing with it.. and since ph means everything in hydro its just a good habit to have.. the ph meter was spot on which is reassuring to see.. and after all the nutes had cirrculated well and i checked the res PH it was 6.0.. spot on where i wanted it.. i added a little ph down just to help it maintain the low 6's throughout the day until tomorrow.. ill see how much it goes up over night, which it will do... i havent figured out why it does it so much... or if its even normal to do that.. but i got plenty of ph down to take care of it.. i wonder if there are any affects of the ph down to the plants in large doses?? anyways.. i didnt have fuck to much with the ph which was nice...

and lastly was the EC/PPM... it was damn near spot on to what i wanted... 1.8/2.0 EC and 1000/1100 (x500) PPM...

it was seriously a perfect res change for me.. or what i would envision as a perfect res change... hopefully the few girls i got left at the moment enjoy it... they are looking good.. ill post a few new pics in a day or two.. and ill find some to stick in the pic for comparison so you can see the amount of growth easier...
