Vaporizers...do they work?

I have tried two different vaporizers in the past, both of which were terrible.

Firstly a device made up of a glass jar and heating tower, and secondly, a vapir one digital machine.

Neither got me at all high.

I have tried, briefly, a vaporizer which was made of a wooden box and a whip, which did have an effect.

Now I am once again considering buying a vaporizer. And quitting the smoking completely.

Do i really need to spend 500$ on a volcano to be damn sure it will work, or are there cheaper options which are widely known to work and trusted by the stoner community??

Can anyone give me any recommendations...please!

I have one and personally I dont like it. It takes the essence of smoking away and actually tastes weird IMHO. It does get you toasted though

I use a Vaporstar and it gets me plenty high but I have to admit that I still prefer smoking. I only vape when I don't feel like stepping outside to puff. As long as you don't burn your bud, the only smell vaporizing leaves is a mild popcorn-like odor. I can't imagine a non-smoker being able to identify the smell.

i-inhale are cool I tried one, but yeah smoking is nothing like vaporising..... diffrent stone as you wont get that knocked out body type buzz.... joints are the BESSST

been vaping for quite some time. seems to work pretty good for me. not the same as smoking. much more of a head high than body high.

Do you have to hit a vaporizer a certain way, I only smoke out of one once, but I think I remember my pal told me to hit it a weird way.

I have only heard great things about a vaporizer called "Herbalaire."
Its known as the mini-volcano, and works nearly as well. Costs like $250 dollars compared to the $500+ for a volcano.

I had your same problem and hated them until my dispensary had a volcano to try out and it was bomb. spend the money.....well worth it

damn straight they work. i bought an extreme v tower two or three months ago and have never looked back. I only smoke bowls when friends offer them to me, i dont want to be rude. i hit a couple bags at 200 Celsius, then 230 and cap it off with a bag or two at 260. i also keep my left overs for cookies.
