I only have one plant... It's more or less an experiment, so I am not worried about how much I get off of it. However, I just want to be sure it'll go all the way through harvest with out dying on me.

I wish I had seen this thread when it was started but you probably would not have believed me anyway because everyone else is saying its fine.

I noticed the leaves on the first pics posted right away. They were too much on the light green side. I also noticed that the main fan leaves were losing color rapidly as the plant grew more flowers. This means the plant is using ALL of its' stored food and is looking for more to help the buds grow bigger.

Some people here have told you to put some nutes in it but you did not listen. I think you may have a chance to keep the leaves alive but you are running out of time. All the leaves will fall off quickly now. It starts slow from the bottom up. This is happening to your plant wayyyyyy too soon.

Curse at me now and call me an idiot but I stand by my words. No leaves in 2 weeks. They will all fall off due to the plant using all the stored energy in the leaves. Even adding nutes now will probably not help it but it may help you keep some of the leaves at the very top.

I hope I am wrong but I have seen this hundreds of times. Don't get upset just learn from your experiences. Let's see what happens to the rest of the fan leaves in the next 7 days.

nope wrong... it should hapen 30 days in to flower normaly, but some do turn and fall off a bit early.it all depend on what you are feedingthem. if your not feeding them nothing then the plant is going to pull allit can from the leaves to the buds.if there is nothingstoredin the leaves the the leaf willdye and fall off. that why nitregon is important the 1st 30 days in flower after that you can shut down the N and hmmer the shit out of it wit bloomnutes with nonitregone in it.....

Well, I hope so... It just threw me for a loop when I read that post. The plant has been completely healthy the whole grow and I thought the leaves were supposed to do what they are doing and I just wanted to be sure. I'm gonna stick to the same regimine I have been on. Thanks a lot for your help!!

hey man ..... everyone's got there opinions. the truth is always along some continuum ..... I mentioned a couple of days/weeks back that I thought the plant might benefit from some added nutes. Those last pictures also suggest that you might want to consider adding some nutes. I believe if you started with light/moderate feeding you will see a difference in her colour and growth. doesn't have to be fancy or high tech. just something simple to improve the results of your experiment. :blsmoke:

Dont sweat it too much. I lost like 50% of my leaves due to a bug infestation. And Im budding like a champ. I might not have as large of a yeild but it should finish nicely.
But it is somewhat normal to lose some leaves towards the end.

Your girl looks good.

Here is what mine look like currently.

here what a leaf looks like 3 to 4 weeks in flower if all is done correctlt, with the bloome nutes and nitregon. its the big leaf. this is normaland wellfall of later in flower. some will fall off alitle early.
now the smallleaf is on 2 weeks in flower with no nitregon added at all.. they will fallof the whole way threw flower and hurt your bud growth... nitregon is a must during flower.the first 30 days any way is how i do it...:hump: hope this helps...

I just want to add this..........yes, it is natural for leaves to fall off during bloom. But not like yours Fen. I used to grow like that until I learned. A healthy plant that does not need food from its leaves will be healthy till the day you cut her down. This is something you learn over time.

I will reiterate this.........those leaves will ALL fall off within 2 weeks because the plant is using them as food. Don't go crazy and try feeding it now cause you may wind up overdoing it and burn her.

Look at the leaves. Nice and healthy :blsmoke:

If you look at the plant in the top right corner you will see a few burnt leaves. I was able to fix it within a week and it came back strong.
