600 watt cool tube help.

how goes it? i was wondering what size vortex fan i should use for a 600watt hps w/cooltube in a 4ftx4ftx7ft grow tent. any help would be much appreciated:hump:.......kiss-ass

ok cool! haha a friend of mine was trying to talk me into buying the 10inch vortex damn would that have sucked...

so i was thinking of a set up like this: -carbon filter-ducting-cool tube-ducting-fan-outside... sound good?

i was thinking of buying one. i have a discount hydroponic magazine that have c.filters at 50 bucks. + i haven't really put any thought in making my own

Well either way there will be some restriction in air flow once you attach the carbon filter to the end of the light. Where will your intake air be coming from?

im thinking a fan inside the tent...but now that i think about this situation.... i think the vortex fan will suck up more air than the small fan puts out?

Will if you use the vortex fan as your exhaust and just use an open hole for a passive intake than you could just use the fan in the tent to blow the fresh air around the plants

if i'm not mistaking i believe most grow tents have a few flaps on ether sides of the bottom walls for the cooler air that sits on the bottom of rooms to pass inside the tent.im sure that should do the trick
