Broken Petal, Problem?

I was transplanting my pot that had 3 plants in it. While transferring I torn one of the petals on my plant, Will it recover? What do I need to pay attention to while it recovers.

The plant it only about 2 weeks old and I'm concerned its just not growing fast enough.

Thanks!

Those 2 things u call petals are called cotyledons and they are supposed to die after ur plant is spouted so no problem,

It's kinda small for 2 weeks but at this stage there is nothing u are doing wrong just keep the lights close so it doesnt stretch and u will be fine.

At this age, there's nothing you can do to speed it up. They do tend to slow down above ground as the roots grow early on.
I do 24 on, believing that no dark means faster grows/buds, but most do 18/6 (convinced that inside plants need dark for optimal vegetative grow)

Having done both, it stills takes me at least 90 days, uncured.

Well the 3 that I have split up are all under different lighting experiments,

24/0 with a 27w CFL

24/0 with a 100w incandescent

18/6 with a 100w incandescent

Ah well at least Im happier to know that those leaves are all apart of the plants lifecycle and not important anymore.

Hi CreativeOne,

Just noticed that your using incandescent light bulbs, your plants will not grow while you are using them sorry to say.
You also need more than 1 27w cfl for a grow, Try to aim for 150W per plant.
So go out and grab some cfl's!

Happy growing

Awesome! Thanks for the help. I was wondering why after 3 days they didnt make anything happen! How about replacing them with some natural sunlight? I got a nice corner that provides excellent sunlight throughout the day.

if you won't get seen/caught for it etc, DO IT, until you get a nice big bag of CFL lights for inside, get them in the sunshine for as much as you can, then bring em back in and get em under the 1 cfl for now i guess :D

if you can use the sunlight, do so! (unless we're talking england sunlight, in which case it'll work, just not that great :D
