Too easy to have kids?

I'm that guy that doesn't understand why families produce more than 2 children on purpose. I understand adopting past that number, but I just don't understand why anyone would need to produce more than two?

Yes, I know about farmers needing them to help but it's not the wild west anymore. I don't hate these people I just don't have a clue why they do this? If I could change one thing here I would make everyone sterile and then if they passed some kind of tests and were ready to be parents then they can have up to two kids.

I think if we keep on breeding like cockroaches and depleting our resources we're in for a big surprise in 1000 years if this earth still exists. We'll be out of room just because of cemeteries.

Most people don't look 100 years into the future, much less 1000 years. It's why mankind is eventually doomed to failure. Remember, on a long enough time line, the survival rate of all species is 0.

My problem has always been people that cant afford them are having so many, welfare recipients making nice big families for us to pay for. If I were in charge there would be prison time for this.

There is plenty of room on the planet the fact is Governments pay farmers not to farm things to have control over the populations. In the end if everyone wanted you could get the basics to keep you family fed at your own homes. We are just too lazy and choose not too farm our own food, raise chickens, goats, or whatever for meat and milk & such.

Why include me in the quote? I'm completely against all forms of population control. Individuals have ultimate freedom and can produce if they like. I do not think there are millions of welfare families producing to receive benefits. I do however know a LOT of people that like kids and cherish the bonds of familial relations, so they have MANY kids. People producing people for good reasons is a beautiful thing. We cannot restrict this.

I would of loved to use the cost of this BS war toward welfare. I understand welfare. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either.


Why I think we need to limit population is because we have so much hate in this world between each other its sickening. Every year it seems to be more shocking and disturbing of what we do to each other. There is a lot of beauty, but it seems the bad out weights it by a mile. What really gets me mad is how man has treated each other since existence... It's in our blood to hate, we are still Caveman just more advanced. Worse than pitbulls. I mean seriously... who the hell of sound mind could torture another living thing?

And what man still does to animals is even more barbaric and it's generally ok with the public. They have the same organs we do and they feel pain like we do. I saw some twisted video of what the chinese do to dogs and it permentaly scarred me. I hate this and there is too much of it existing and I feel that we have to stop adding so much more to the "pot". I'm guilty too... I'm a failed vegietarian. I understand eating meat, I just wish it could be more humane. Maybe we should slow down and get a grip. Let's not forget about Rush Hour traffic everybody would agree with me when experiencing that =)))

Look no futher then the TV and Movies. To stop eating meat because you think its mean to kill an animal is just nonsense. Do you think a lion,bear,and ect. feel bad when they kill a fish or whatnot. We are hunter gatherers plain and simple. It's just a part of life.

fuck people. honestly, probably 60% of the people on this planet are useless. they are ignorant, evil, and selfish. human beings have no respect for their environment or their surroundings. they are depleting the resources of this planet and obviously will end up out-populating themselves. i am ALL for population control. i agree that their should be a test, or multiple tests to determine if you should be allowed to procreate. stop filling the planet up with useless, dumb, ignorant, stupid people who do nothing more than pollute the planet and waste oxygen. people = shit. i'd much rather deal with animals. or plants :) people suck, bottom line. most are shallow minded idiots who believe anything the t.v. tells them. fuck people. we need LESS people on this planet. i dont care if this is politically correct or not. or whether anyone else agrees or not. most people are mindless fucking drones who do no benefit to the planet or mankind..... hate if you want to, but that's the truth.

I am not in favor of any government mandating who can procreate and how many kids they can have.
I am concerned about over population, but that is a personal bias. In my "perfect world" I'd prefer fewer people, BUT I don't think imposing my will on others or favoring a government that would do it is the answer.

The future of our species is an interesting topic. We could end up as snack food for other life forms that regard us as tasty and of such low intelligence that there is no moral issue with eating US. They might be right.

Scewed facts, war will always cost a lot of money all at once, but lazy trash having 4 kids on welfare has to be added up during non war time as well, meaning, war only costs us while we at war, welfare costs us continuously.
Any clear thinking individual can see this right?
1 trillion every 4 years for welfare, we are at peace more often than we are at war.

I understand where you're coming from. Like I said I eat meat too. Animals kill each other all the time they eat live babies too, but that is nature and they really don't have the means to properly euthanize their lunch. Where we can. I worked at a turkey farm for 3 summers and I toured their slaughter house once. I think if more people saw how it works from beginning to end they'd change their mind on the process of making meat!
