or do you simply put them in 12/12 asap or as soon as the roots become strong enough/grow from the newly cut clone? let me know.

After 2-3 weeks you can 12/12 and get something to smoke or you can wait until they are 18-24" and get 4-7 oz per plant.
Once a plant makes it to 15" it really starts to take off and bush out with bud sites.

Honestly man, you can put them in 12/12 if you want. The problem is that they start budding fast and don't get too big... This is fine if you have lots of clones...

So if you have lots of clones and a whole bunch of 2inch netpots, and a nice aeroponic clone starter tray, you could do real nicely to just take the clones all the way to budding finish 4 weeks later.

With 12/12, you can get double the clones and keep the bulb on 24/7, just rotate the clone trays. It's room efficient, and I think; the way to go.

A weed plant is mature enough to flower when the nodes stop growing adjacent. When you see the new nodes begin to grow stagared your lady is mature. With clones it takes about two weeks to root. I would say wait until the ladies are 12"-18" then flower for a good yield. I began to flower my last clones three weeks after rooting, The smallest 12" the largest 18"

Another thing to remember is that the plants double or triple in height when you put them under 12/12. So if height is limited, you have to take that into account. I have two plants going now that were 10" when I put them in the flower room. They are now 44" in less than four weeks.
