Ok so first off I want to say thank you to all who have contributed to this fine site, from reading threw threads since I've came across this issue I can tell there is a lot of great knowledge to be shared
I'm going to start by explaining my situation and trying to answer as many questions you will have before having to ask them..
My girls are outdoor.......I don't remember when but probably like early march I left the seeds I found from some pretty good smoke I got in a cup and they sproted the little white tails.....got excited went and got soil. Since then I've benn giving them a little more than 20 oz of water a day and started gradually giving them a mix my hawaiin buddy told me he used to grow monsters, 1 little capfull of superthrive and about 2 little caps of superbloom stuff from walmart is where I'm at now feeding that every 3 days.....I'm sure there were problems along the way because I never knew of ph balancing them, pests, acidity level, rinsing the soil before you use it, there's plenty of stuff I've read in the past 24 hours that I'm kicking myself in the arse for now wishing I would have known sooner! But its ok I'm having progress and I'm learning.
So here's my situation, my girl has been flowering (I don't know since when, which I'm really mad for because I've read they usually flower for around 8 weeks, someone please correct me if I'm wrong...)
I was thinking of harvesting the little girl this Friday that passed but decided to wait because I got a little microscope checked out the trichomes which I believed could be a little more cloudy since they were mainly clear, plus they looked like they were going threw a major growth spurt to me, so I was thinking let the nugs fluff another week or two and harvest (only about the size of the 5 gallon bucket, so what like 18-24 inches?) It has about 10 little spears besides the main cola, it was never topped, but I did clip leaves that were yellowish not knowing if I should or not.....my buddy seen her today and insists she's returned to vegatative growth and that's why I think its exploding because at the top of one of the side spears there is a lot of new growth but mainly leafy at the top, not really like when all the pistils or hairs were there sticking out.
I'm worried should I leave them to grow another week or so, should I harvest right now or is it good there going veg again and maybe ill get more yield? Is it bad for the plant to return to vegatative like he says?
Any help will be greatly appreciated, I know there's plenty of things I should have done and the next time I will be taking much better care of my beauties since I've found this sight. Thanks in advance
