hard to tell in the pictures with all the frost in the way but did the calyxes swell up and plump out allready? did you get a chance to take a look under a jewelers loupe or a 420 scope of somekind? would give you a better idea to let you know when its time to harvest

depends what you like. thier is the clear, milky, and amber, in that order...
supposedly, clear is a more thc and amber is more cbd and shit.. before everyone wanted thc but research is telling otherwise now, and to tell you the truth, I take marinol and it don't do shit for me... laboratory thc, synthetic crap!no cbd's , cbn's and all that other stuff. I would rather burn a joint with mids in it then pop a marinol. the marinol don't work for me, but it works for my GF, go figure... I'm sure it's because I have a very high tolerance it don't work for my friends either

and if you go to radio shack don't even bother buying batteries for the built in light. that light is crap!! LOL use a flashlight or something else rather than the built in light.

no. you can do it whenever. get the scope touching the buds and make sure the light is directly on it. it takes getting used to at first. especially since everything is reversed on a scope, down is up, up is down. you'll understand more what I'm talking about once you use it! LOL hehehe
you can tear a leaf with crystals on it and practice on that at first. make sure your background is good. I usually put the leaf on a paper, then look at it

Scope works pretty well as long as you use a white piece of paper and cut off a little bit. That's the only method that won't make you mad.
