I already have a journal going myself. I have some seedlings going and will put them outside soon. I'll start a journal on them as well. I wanna see them go in the cold as well.Yes I will make a grow journal because I would like it documented for myself in the future and for everyone interested should be some good info.

Yes it will work for soil tooAnother question I ordering grow big off ebay and the shitty ass people sent me grow big hydro the stuff in the blue bottle. Which is 3-2-6 not 6-4-4 pretty pissed left bad feedback and they refunded me totally so it cost me nothing at least. But is this stuff effective for soil plants? Ive been using it and it seems to work plants are lush green.
you can get an inside/outside thermometer that remembers the low and high of the day, so you know what is going on. it depends on the strain but why take a chance and get all stressed? bring it home... if you keep some light on it inside you can keep it growing and next spring takes some clones before it flowers. i did that last year and had six pink kush plants i am busy trimming now. locally grown strains do better but don't make your plant have to be a hero. they produce more and more potent bud when they are happy. i can't believe the deer haven't eaten. you are very lucky, don't push it... jpupper michigan close to lake superior
the white widow takes a long time. i had to cut mine a month ago because it wasn't even starting to flower and shaded the others. i'll use it for firewood. good luck.I'm interested in seeing what happens to mine. I germed 5 seeds today and will put them outside when they're big enough, 2 OG Kush, 2 White Widow, and 1 Arjans Haze #2. First frost is supposed to be Nov. 7th, the winters have been rather mild lately though. I'm not expecting them to get too big, I'm just experimenting. Hopefully they will be big enough to yield at least 3 oz's between the 5 of them. If they do it will go great with the other 7 I'm growing outside.
It's a forum , And I give props to those who use the search button, That being said and being with in 70 miles of the op I'd say he harvested and everything was fine . We have only had one frost and it was 3 days ago.....@Woodyson76, if you will look at the date of the first post it will keep you from dredging up these old dead threads. Lots to talk about here without bringing them back to life.
Welcome to RIU. Have a good day.
I live in the midwest and I have 4 plants going outdoors in 6 gallon pots. The biggest is nearing 4 feet tall now. According to the farmers almanac my area gets its first frost in early september. The plant will not even be flowering for a month before this happens. The plants are in the woods where I wont be able to tend to them on a daily basis so im wondering CAN large healthy marijuana plants handle light frost if its brought on gradually as part of their enviroment? Is it worth it to risk it, well theres no other choice i cant put a 6 foot plant in my house :/
Opinions please thanks
Ya buddy theres a late reply ha ha. I dont grow outdoors anymore all indoors and things are goin well! Happy new year!!!!!Yes they can. I've had plants survive down to 20 degrees. Some plants die others have the sugar leaves burnt off but bud still fine.
I still have plants outside now and it's been down in the teens.
Some have burned up from the frost though. If the trees can protect it some the better it is.
I've brought out plants that were frozen and the buds were just fine while trimming.
Depends on the plant is what Im saying.
